I was there. I was 20 years old. I took some great close-up pics of the players and Osman celebrating when they all came over to celebrate with the fans. Sadly I somehow lost the roll of film and never ever got to see those pics. Great night though!
This was the best night i will always remember right behind the city end goal. Coming out of the ground after the game and all the Liverpool fans said well done. They wanted Graham S out!. i didn't get home until 4am had to be in work at 5.30
I'd never been keen on Liverpool fans after our coach windows being smashed on a previous visit to Anfield. But, they were great that night. We drank with them in a pub outside the Kop end, and had a great time. Then, after the match went off to another pub near the ground until closing time. While there we phoned up one of rovers main pubs, and all sang down the phone to 'em. Got back home about 4/4.30. Great night out.
