Amy & Marc, you epitomize the axiom "Keep calm and carry on"! Great examples for your kids. Wishing you all the best in your endeavors! 🥰

What a learning curve; i could almost feel Marc gnashing or grinding his teeth knowing he had the tools but couldn’t get them there. As frustrating as 500sqm limitation to start sounded at the beginning of the episode, it’s probably a blessing as you get to find the little road bumps that in a few short seasons will just be distant memories.

What a project! You always are taking the long view for success. Your children will love caring for the plants years from now.

I imagine you sitting back thirty years from now and having a good laugh about how you started to plant your first vines for your now prize winning wines. Bon Chance!

Such a beautiful view. I agree with Marc that you can’t make bad wine with a view like that 😍 Fingers crossed that you are able to find someone to help plow the area. Someday it will all seem funny as you drink the fruits of your labor 🍷Bonne chance 🍀Looking forward to the next vlog 😍😘

I kept thinking of everyone in the past who had to plow their fields with horses. My heart went out to you, I know how difficult it is to till hard soil.

Oh, I felt this one in the depths of my soul. I'm married to a farmer but find myself using manual tools all the time. I'm also a terrible grower of grapes, so I'm really keen to watch this process!

Driving around it’s hard to imagine the amount of work that goes into planting a relatively small vineyard. Good luck to you both!

So interesting -- one doesn't realize the difficulties of long-distance farming. Where we are, there is farm equipment on the road all the time, but they are usually big farms with very heavy-duty equipment that is legal to drive on the road. I chuckled at the enormous list of restrictions, but I understand the need to protect an appelation. It's truly a lovely mountainside. Also - your music choices were very good!

For someone who’s English is a second language you are extremely clear and concise in your explanations, it all makes perfect sense, thank you Marc

What a wonderful spot for a vineyard.😊 You'll need a lot of work to get it plant ready. Too bad it's so far from your home. ❤

How incredibly disappointing. I'm sure Marc anticipated that things might not have gone well. I couldn't beleive it when he said you were going to try to rotovate that much - and plant in one day. Courage, mon ami. I'm sure you figured something out as the video was one month ago and the two of you always use your heads to find solutions others might not think of. It looked a lovely day and the children seemed to have had a great time, so there's that. They will look back and know they were present when this heritage was begun. ❤ P.S. Juliette has the most amazing eyes! 😍

Marc and Amy, you have such great attitudes which is a great example for your children. The land is so beautiful and the views are stunning. I’m sure the soil will be rich once it’s plowed up and worked a bit. Very inspiring and beautiful vlog. Thank you. xx

If at first, you dont succeed, try, try, try, try, again!! As long as you are learning in the process, it is never a failure! You guys are very inspiring!!! Due to your, and other's, building projects, I was inspired to build a new chik house. I am calling it the Chique Chateau, to go along with my previous Cluckingham Palace. I am way over building it, but I see the quality and attention to detail that you guys do, and I want it to last for many, many years. I may even try to find an old, used chandelier to hang inside. As I said, you inspire me!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Wishing you success in this next project. A French man with land is never satisfied with what it can provide for his family. It is his heritage, it is his love of life. But that's why you married him Amy. The adventure never ends.😊
