      Sorry to hear about the bullying 😭 you should research myofunctional exercises and work on some of the underlying causes of crooked teeth.
      You should ask your parents if they have orthodontic coverage. Some insurance companies allow for children to get orthodontic treatment for a discounted price.

    • @DentalNowPanorama
      @DentalNowPanorama  Před 4 lety +7

      Hello! Thanks for the question. We really appreciate you reaching out 😊 we typically recommend that patients focus on the underlying causes of crooked teeth. Many patients have some negative habits such as mouth breathing that cause significant impact your teeth. This would probably be your best bet because it allows you to focus on things you can change immediately. There are also a few myobrace exercises that can help with your teeth. In order to give you a better opinion we would need to see your teeth but usually we recommend that patients visit a dentist and ask about Invisalign. You can straighten your teeth without braces as these are clear plastic aligners that people won't be able to notice. Hopefully we've answered your questions. If you have any more, don't hesitate to ask! We'd be more than happy to help. 😊

Many dentists and orthodontists actually offer extremely low priced monthly payment options over multiple years that can range to less than 150 a month in certain instances. Hello! Thanks for your question. Hopefully we can help you out. I'm sorry to hear about the fact that your insurance doesn't cover orthodontics 😓 we know how expensive it can get. Honestly here at our office we offer extremely low monthly payment plans tailor made for all of our patients. We believe that financing should not get in the way of getting the smile that you've always wanted, that's why every single one of our payment plans is 0% interest and we can extend them for a fairly long time depending on each individual treatment. At our office, our prices start as low as $40 a week! I would personally suggest that you visit a bunch of different orthodontist and dentist around your hometown and see if they offer payment plans for orthodontics. Many different dentist and orthodontist do offer it and are really lenient when it comes to the time frame it takes to pay for orthodontics.
      Hopefully we've been able to answer your question, if you have any others about your oral health would be more than happy to help you! we're also really appreciate if you could subscribe to our Channel, it would mean a lot to us as we're trying to reach as many people as we can and help them out! Hello Akhil, thank you so much for your question. It means a lot to us that you've watched our videos. Hopefully we can guide you in the right direction.
      There are certain instances in which braces don't have the ability to do specific refinements when it comes to your orthodontic condition. That means that braces are good for large movements and changes but they're a lot harder to manage when it comes to small, manute changes. our recommendation would be to visit a local dentist around you that has some understanding of Invisalign packages or ask your dentist whether or not they are able to provide Invisalign. it will be an additional small cost but there is a package called Invisalign LITE, which is typically meant for patients who have previously been in orthodontic treatment and are only looking for the final touches to their smile. The benefit of Invisalign is that every week you change to a new set of trays that have been pre-programmed by a computer system so that your dentist is able to actually do these my new changes and these tweaks to your smile that braces may not normally be able to do. We actually made a video that talks about the differences between Invisalign and braces. czcams.com/video/MyT-pSftDeI/video.html
      hopefully we've been able to answer your question, if you have any other questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to us at any time! Would be more than happy to assist you. Help I need advice! I am missing both of the teeth on either side of my front ones (eye teeth or something are they called?) because of a hereditary condition from my dads side of the family. After braces I had dental implants and crowns placed in the spaces at age 17. I had a perfect smile for many years but now I’m 38 and the crowns look sooo short compared to my 2 front teeth that I look like a rabbit! Did my implants sink into the bone or have my front teeth just gotten longer over time? I can’t afford to have my crowns replaced right now so what, if any, are my options to lessen my resemblance to bugs bunny? I’ve thought about having the front two filed down some but am afraid it could cause decay and ruin then. It’s so very embarrassing to look like this!

It sucks because my teeth are white but they’re so crooked I’ve been made fun of for it my entire life, it’s never bothered my what bothers me is feeling it with my tongue. There are some that are pushed backwards and there’s also some that are almost sideways. I don’t wanna get braces because my family isn’t stable money wise and I’m scared of getting my teeth pulled out. I also have only ever been to the dentist once in life and I’m 16 but they said my teeth are perfectly healthy. I also messed up my back tight molar because I only used charcoal toothpaste for 3 months one time and then it messed them up. I just wish my teeth were better

    My main problem is an overbite.. My top incisors and canines are pretty well pushed forward from the gum onwards..
    My bad habits would include mouth breathing and my tongue resting on the interiors of my front teeth and probably is the main reason for my overbite
    I did wear braces a few years back and teeth were pretty much great but i guess due to not wearing retainers.. The teeth have come forward again..
    Is it possible to fix it ideally at home with the exercises really ?

    • @DentalNowPanorama
      @DentalNowPanorama  Před 3 lety +5

      It's unlikely that you can fix this at home without orthodontic treatment such as braces or invisalign. Especially with bite problems, there needs to be constant force in order to actually change them and some conditions may even require surgery. we aren't trying to frighten you but we would highly suggest that you talk to some dentists and get a variety of treatment plans from various dentists so that you can truly understand what sort of treatment is necessary for your case.

      Hello! Thank you so much for watching our video. It means a lot to us. Hopefully we can help answer your question! Based upon what you are currently describing, it seems to me that you may be a good candidate for Invisalign treatment! We've helped quite a few patients with similar problems straighten their teeth and we could potentially do the same with you. Although, it would be best to visit a dentist to better assess your condition and give you a direct quote for invisalign. We've treated quite a few patients with invisalign over the years and we've seen invisalign become much better at handling complex cases over the last little while. Hopefully this helps! We are considering making a video that talks about the benefits of invisalign and what type of treatment it's actually able to do! Hopefully we've been able to help! Our prices are extremely affordable and really range greatly depending on the complexity of each case. The range can be anywhere between $1799 and $5495 for extremely complex cases; but we will ever charge patients anymore than $5945 no matter how complex it is. We have no additional hidden costs. At our office, we honestly just want to help patients out that's why we also offer 0% monthly financing with affordable payment plans tailored to each person. Unfortunately, without seeing your case I won't be able to tell you exactly how long treatment is because it truly depends on each person and how complex their treatment is. Please DO NOT use your fingers to push your teeth. Not only will you not see any significant results but you may also be bringing in unwanted bacteria, viruses and other things from your outside environment. Additionally, you may potentially cause some damage to your teeth if you don't look after them carefully. We always suggest that no matter what you do with your teeth it's always done under the supervision and authorization of your dentist because it could cause some damage that may result in much more expensive treatment down the road.
      We actually made a video on some exercises and habits that you can do from home that over the very long term may actually help with your teeth. It will be quite some time, that's why we always recommend that you get orthodontic treatment such as braces or Invisalign instead.

      @DentalNowPanorama  Před 4 lety +2

      You really shouldn't consider filing it down. Especially since your teeth do fit well together, you always want to make sure you can have a great looking smile. I totally get it though, the fact that the tooth is sticking out is quite annoying. Your best bet would be to ask a dentist about Invisalign LITE. It's Invisaligns cheaper alternative with less trays than regular treatment. This would allow you to align your smile back to their original condition. Plus you will get a retainer to keep your teeth there. It's a lot more affordable and most dentists will do monthly payment plans. The thing is, teeth tend to shift back if they aren't carefully looked after. That's why it's always essential to make sure you wear your retainers after treatment.
      Food for thought, if you decide to shave down your teeth you actually will never be able to regain that. So it's actually essential you keep your smile as long as you can.
      Hopefully this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns. We'd be more than happy to help!

    • @DentalNowPanorama
      @DentalNowPanorama  Před 3 lety

      Honestly you should really consider getting Invisalign lite! It's a version of Invisalign that is meant for people who have previously had orthodontics. It's much more affordable as it's only 15 trays compared to the unlimited amount you get from original Invisalign treatment. Once you complete this treatment you need to continuously wear those retainers every single night. It's the only way to make sure that you keep your smile in the condition it needs to be!

      Hello! Thanks for your question. We really appreciate it. We are actually thinking of making a video on this topic outlining some more points. Unfortunately it's pretty hard to tell as it differs greatly case by case. We will try our best to give you a response that can hopefully guide you in the right direction 🙏
      There's a few options, I will mention our most recommended solution and then when we finish the video, we will have a more detailed response with other options as well. The best option is to straighten and shape the teeth around your incisors. This means that the other teeth around may be crooked or just a little bit behind your incisors so it looks much more evident. Once you straighten your teeth, you can talk to a dentist about getting cosmetic fillings on your other teeth to better match the shape of your incisors. This would help shape your smile once your teeth are straightened and if you have a skilled dentist they can shape them with special filling material to make your smile look incredible.
      This was a wonderful question and I really want to show some examples and get our dentist to talk about some similar cases. We've had quite a few similar questions.

We are actually going to be posting a video in the next few days on some of the exercises that you can do to improve your swallowing habits! We actually just finished editing, so we will have it available very shortly ☺️ in regards to your tongue Position at night, there are certainly exercises and appliances that can help but you will still need to straighten your teeth once you do fix these habits. It's a lot harder to straighten them if you're older with just these exercises alone. That's why we always recommend combining the two so that you can focus on the underlying issues as well as dealing with your crooked teeth!

      Thank you so much, we really appreciate you watching our video. Hopefully, we can help guide you in the right direction. Unfortunately, it's really hard for us to give you any advice on your individual condition without seeing you in person. There's a lot of factors at play that influences your individual condition.
      We have made some videos on some of the things that you can do at home that may be able to help with your crooked teeth such as dealing with underlying conditions such as mouth breathing, working on your tongue position, as well as other exercises that may help you with your crooked teeth..

      How to straighten your teeth naturally at home: czcams.com/video/WGLbTuumK2s/video.html
      Normally we recommend that patients work on these causes and see what results they may get over the long term but for the most optimal solution, our recommendation is that you combine some of the exercises we mentioned as well as working on some of the underlying conditions of crooked teeth with orthodontic treatment such as Invisalign and Braces. This is the most effective long term solution for your oral health.
      We always recommend that before you actually decide to move forward, that you should consider visiting multiple different dentists across your city so that you can get as much information as possible about your orthodontic condition. Many dentists and orthodontists offer free consultations which will give you a detailed outline of your orthodontic condition. We always recommend that all of our patients visit some local dentists, so that they understand exactly what they are getting themselves into. 😊

      Hello! Hopefully we can guide you in the right direction 🙂
      We know that sometimes you have a relationship with your dentist and that sometimes you don't want to leave them, but in your condition we would highly recommend that you actually consider visiting a few other dentists or orthodontists instead. You technically don't have an obligation to your dentist and you can switch dentists at any time! You should also look at Invisalign's website and type in your postal code or zipcode into their Doctor finder, this way you can learn more about local dentists that can help you with your orthodontic condition 🙂
      We usually recommend that you get second opinions anyways, especially if you have Orthodontic coverage. We always suggest this because you may be able to find a dentist that is able to work out for you based on location and a bunch of other factors. Don't just stick to your family dentist! 🥰

      We would appreciate you subscribing to our channel.

      Hello everyone thanks for your comments. We appreciate everyone reaching out. We are going to try our best to help.
      First of all, we want to break the myth about rubber bands. We would highly suggest that you do not do this. You can damage your gums with the rubber bands and this can lead to permanent, long-term damage. We would highly recommend that you don't just trust some random CZcams comments with this suggestion. We would recommend that you absolutely do visit a dentist and do some research into why orthodontics is done in the first place.
      Secondly, it's really hard to give you any suggestions about some sort of recommendation for your condition. Everyone's so different, and each case can have challenges that vary from person to person. We would recommend that you follow some of the exercises that we mentioned as well as work on the underlying causes. We would also suggest that you do some more research into Myofunctional therapy. We actually made a video that covers this topic so that you can dive deeper into the subject and fine beneficial ways for you. czcams.com/video/AKFBKHpUzb4/video.html
      The thing is, this will take some time and you will probably not see any significant changes for a few years. Once you do this research and you look into some of the underlying conditions, you should see some changes over the long term. We also recommend that you talk to a dentist in your hometown that specializes in Myofunctional therapy as they will be the best resource for you to learn about your condition and whether or not Myofunctional therapy works for you!
      If you want quicker results, we would suggest you go with orthodontics such as Invisalign or Braces. This would be the most efficient way for you to get the results you want in a much shorter time frame! If you are considering this treatment, please do shop around! We would recommend that you get a recommendation from multiple different orthodontists so that you get the best understanding of your orthodontic condition.
      Hopefully this helps answer your question! If you have any others, please don't hesitate to reach out! We would be more than happy to help. if you would be so kind, we would really appreciate you subscribing to our channel. it would really mean a lot to us. 😃

      Thanks for your question! You absolutely need to visit a dentist and get a proper assessment of your condition. Once that happens and you realize it's structurally integral, then there may be cosmetic options available. Many dental practices offer patients the chance to get cosmetic fillings. Basically it's the same material that they use for cavities, the only difference is that your dentist uses it to shape and mould your teeth. Hopefully this answers your question;

    hey, if there's an adult case of relative undereruption of lower molars vs overeruption of lower incisors (deep bite), can it be fixed without appliances with something like chewing if the underlying cause (tongue resting between the molars) is removed? if so then should one focus on chewing with molars to promote bone growth response and possible slight additional eruption or on careful chewing with incisors to kind of push them deeper (seems less reasonable)?

      Hello! Congratulations on getting braces! I know it's quite a tedious task. The biggest problem that we see with patients who get orthodontics is the fact that they don't continue wearing retainer. They are the most important part of treatment and you need to pretty much continue wearing the retainers for the rest of your life. Our recommendation would be to visit a dentist and talk to them about getting Invisalign lite it's a much more affordable solution that uses the same technology as Invisalign but capping the trays at a maximum of 15! This is meant for people with minor treatment. Hopefully we've been able to help answer your questions! 🙏

    • @DentalNowPanorama
      @DentalNowPanorama  Před 4 lety +2

      Hello Latha, thanks for your question. Hopefully we can help. Honestly whenever we talk to our patients we always make sure that they understand the need to wear a retainer. Teeth tend to shift back to their original state if they don't see constant pressure. The problem is that if your teeth shift too far out of place the retainer may actually not fit. Then you'll need a new retainer at that point. The whole point behind retainers is that they keep your teeth in the desired location chosen by your dentist. That means that it may not actually help bring your teeth back into the shape.
      Hopefully this answers your question! We would really appreciate you subscribing to our channel. It would mean a lot to us 🙏

      Your best bet is to actually consider Invisalign as an option instead of getting braces. It's really limiting to do individual tooth movements with braces since it's mainly meant for general crooked teeth but with Invisalign, we can really get down to the details of each tooth and work on straightening them.

    • @DentalNowPanorama
      @DentalNowPanorama  Před 4 lety

      Hello Tyrell, hopefully we can guide you in the right direction. We do think that you should always try to work on some of the negative underlying habits that cause crooked teeth, but it honestly really depends on your age. The younger you are the more likely you will be able to fix the solution, but above 13-14 it gets really hard to to correct the imperfections because you start to get permanent teeth and more rigid bone structure in your jaw. I think your best bet would be to visit a few different dentists and orthodontics locally that have a fairly high ranking on Invisalign's site, (as in they've completed a lot of cases) and connect with them for free orthodontic consultations. We always recommend that patients visit multiple different dentists and find out more about their orthodontic condition. You can learn quite a lot of information from these consultations and you can find a better range on the price for Invisalign. If I were you, I would consider doing this before getting braces because it's a lot more tedious than Invisalign trays are. If you want to learn more, we actually made a video a while back on the differences between Invisalign and Braces. Here is the link if you want to learn more: czcams.com/video/MyT-pSftDeI/video.html

      Hello Sagar. thanks for your question. Hopefully we can help. It really depends on each person, and if you've worked on taking care of the underlying causes of crooked teeth. Here at our office, we recommend that patients combine these practices with orthodontic treatment such as braces and Invisalign for the best result, because once you get to a certain age where you have a lot more permanent teeth it is really hard to move teeth just by exercises alone. The other side of it is that you will need to continuously wear a retainer after treatment and also continue doing the exercises so that your teeth don't move out of their original shape. Your teeth tend to want to move into their original position if there is no retention and the practice of good habits.
