    These videos are extremely helpful, I'm a professional singer who developed vocal nodules. After a bit of research I've realized mouth breathing at night has contributed to this problem by way of drying out my nose throat and vocal cords each night before I have to sing the next day. It always took me one or two hours to warm up my voice and hopefully learning how to breath correctly will help improve my oral health going forward. I love this natural and habitual approach to fixing personal health issues!

      Wow, thank you so much Will. we are incredibly grateful that we've been able to help you with our channel. It means a lot to us. We actually made quite a few different videos on a few methods to work on your mouth breathing, so hopefully you've been able to watch those as well! We are currently working on our mouth tape series, where we review different tapes that are available and we give them a score!
      we are also really glad to hear that you've been able to actually find a solution to your vocal nodes. this may actually be an interesting topic idea for us to pursue!

    Hi! I put up braces 4 months ago now but my teeth were not very forward to lips they were just turned in and out on the same place or up and down but were forward, after braces for 4 months notice a difference in which my teeth were straight but now they are pulling out and touching to my lips! So, I had braces when I was younger. My bottom teeth are still pretty straight except for one tooth that is creeping out, I think due to my wisdom teeth crowding it? But no one will take my wisdom teeth out because their roots all curve right along my facial nerves. Is there a decent way to get this tooth back in line without having to go back through the whole expensive process of braces or straightening retainers? Thank you so much for your time and help!

      Thanks for watching the video! Hopefully we've been able to help. Honestly, a lot of these exercises really depend on your age! Some people will see some results and some may not. The younger you or your child are, the easier it will be to actually straighten your teeth!

      @DentalNowPanorama  Před 3 lety

      Hello, thank you so much for reachout out. Yes you can, however, the only concern is that you need to be very very careful when you get Orthodontic treatment. It may work for some patients and it may not work for others because their teeth are moving far too much. It's hard to say without seeing you in person. We always recommend that before you actually decide to move forward, you should consider visiting multiple different dentists across your city so that you can get as much information as possible about your orthodontic condition. Many dentists and orthodontists offer free consultations which will give you a detailed outline on your orthodontic condition. We always recommend that all of our patients visit some local dentists, so that they understand exactly what they are getting themselves into.
      Thank you so much for reaching out! Hopefully we've been able to answer your question. If you have any others, please don't hesitate to reach out at any time! We would be more than happy to help. If it's not too much to ask, we would really appreciate you subscribing to our channel and sharing it with your friends and family. Sir, I had a root canal treatment in one of my front teeth and I want to get braces now.
    I am afraid that my root canaled tooth might damage further. Will braces hurt that damaged tooth because sometimes I can feel slight pain there.

    • @DentalNowPanorama
      @DentalNowPanorama  Před 4 lety +2

      Hello,
      In theory if everything is healthy the amount of force that braces or invisalign would do is a lot lower than the normal everyday force that we put on our teeth with our regular chewing and eating. It should be pretty safe to do this, but at the same time root canal FRONT teeth are extremely weak and Dr. Dhillon has seen many break in a catastrophic way in patients who honestly don't even have braces. If your tooth was to break it means that the tooth was so weak that it would've broken even outside of orthodontic treatment. This would happen regardless of Orthodontics or not. If you're still having pain your toot, there many be a chance that this root canal was not successful. It's important to have that checked out with multiple dentists to make sure that the tooth is healthy enough to start any orthodontic treatment.
      Hopefully we've been able to answer your question. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any others! We would be more than happy to help. We would also really appreciate it if you could subscribe to our channel. It would mean a lot to us.

      You know we alwths recommend that you add more to your teeth instead of removing from them. You always want to maintain as much natural tooth structure as possible.
      There's a thing called cosmetic fillings that are available, which means that dentists would add additional tooth structure to your other teeth to make them look really good in conjunction with your bigger ones. The other option you have to disk your teeth. We really don't recommend this solution because it goes to the extent of removing your tooth structure!

      It's hard for us to give you specific exercises that deal with specific issues. This isn't really an option, as it's a very generalized set of exercises that are meant to assist your overall teeth position. We can't give specific exercises for such specific treatment. Your best bet would actually be to consider getting orthodontics such as Invisalign. It'll be the most effective way for you to straighten those teeth and bring them back to their original position!

My parents can't afford braces again (considering the fact that I already got them 4 years ago) and they can't afford Invisalign either. Frustrating right?

      @DentalNowPanorama  Před 3 lety +1

      Wow! Thanks for your comment Becky, we've never actually had anyone reach out from Uganda before so this is quite exciting for us 😀 hopefully we can help guide you in the right direction.
      Usually when teeth shift out of place once orthodontic treatment is completed, this means that there may have been some issues with some of the underlying causes that were not realty with such as improper tongue poster and mouth breathing or it means that patients forgot to wear their retainer. This tends to happen quite a bit and we see this all the time. Usually we recommend that patients work on both underlying causes as well as continue to wear their retainer. (We can't suggest it enough, just how important it is to wear)
      Your best bet would be to try to follow some of the exercises we mentioned and try to work on the underlying causes. If you do this for a few years, you may he able to tell a difference and see how your teeth have adjusted. Of course this doesn't happen right away.
      If the problem persists after this time, your best bet would be to reconsider saving up some money and getting Invisalign. I know it's difficult to hear this response but it's really hard to move teeth without the constant force required for your teeth to actually shift.
      Hopefully this answers your question! We are really thankful that you reached out. It honestly means a lot to us. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns. We would be more than happy to guide you 🙏 we would also really appreciate you sharing our channel with your friends. Every subscriber matters as we are trying to reach as many people as we can! 😀

      usually we recommend the patients do this for a very prolonged period of time because they won't see any results in the short term. it's essential that you continue doing this on a day-to-day basis and over the next few years there may be some results that you do see. It's really hard to say the exact results that each patient will go through because every case is so different. Hopefully this helps guide you in the right direction! This way you can ensure that all the problems that cause crooked teeth are dealt with. if you don't see any noticeable results within the next few years, you should consider talking to a dentist orthodontist and continuing to combine the exercises in the video as well as getting braces or invisalign.

    • @DentalNowPanorama
      @DentalNowPanorama  Před 3 lety

      Hello Priya, thank you so much for reaching out! Hopefully we are able to help you with your question.
      It really depends on the underlying conditions that your child has. if they start to do some of the exercises that we talked about and focus on taking care of some bad habits such as mouth breathing, there is a fairly high chance that you will see some changes in your child's smile. These changes will take a few years as it isn't a quick solution. The whole point of the exercise that we talked about is to make sure that your child's orothodontic condition and the underlying causes that creates them is in good order. we do however always recommend that patients combine these exercises with orthodontic solutions such as Invisalign or braces. You will see a much quicker result when you combine both, plus if you continue to work on these exercises once you're completed treatment there is also a less likely chance that the patient will relapse and go back to their original condition. Here to our office we always recommend that you combine both because then you'll get the most optimal treatment for your orthodontic condition. you should start to look into Invisalign for your child as an alternative for braces, because they aren't as noticeable and they will be able to tweak even the most complex cases.
      Unfortunately because we can't see your child in person it's really hard for us to give you a precise opinion, but hopefully that answers your question! if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at any time! We would be more than happy to help you in any way we can! We would really really appreciate it if you could subscribe to our Channel and share this with your friends as we're trying to reach and help as many people as we possibly can 🙏
