@@DavidJasonLegon even the eggs were burnt. Total waste. Maybe my slow cooker is too hot even on low setting? I have often thought this before

@@bighardman33 Maybe the thermostat is faulty or it's a hotter slow cooker? Can it be set to "keep warm" mode after, say, 6 hours?

So it cost £15 in electricity and you had over cooked 8hr baked sausage and bacon, scorched rubber egg and nasty mushrooms & tomatoes...exactly why and what purpose was it serving?!
