I really doubt it, one of the main inspirations for FromSoft's game design is Berserk, in which the main character struggles for every victory. It's not about looking cool and dominating your opponent, it's about persevering through sheer will and struggle, rising above the rest because you had the conviction to see it through. But I would love to see them do a game where they completely let loose

Nero does a variation of Virgil's Judgement Cut. So no its actually from Virgil. Many people here seem to have started with DMC4 cuz theres a whole generation gap of gamers between DMC3 and DMC4. Kinda how FinalFantasy13 is trash but it has a generation gap (PS3) after FinalFantasy12 (PS2) so its most younger people's first FF. Now those people hate the entire franchise cuz FF13 is one of the worst videogames ever made. Id rather play Superman64 or watch a dude plow Netflix Alucard for no plot reason at all.

Convergence mod has pretty unique bosses.
Why? The base game hobbles the player for you. Bosses don't have Stamina, you do. They have the longer reach and AoE attack. Just play the base game.
