to be fair, "square" is a technical term here, he's referring to a 1:1 aspect ratio. There isn't a term "rectangular" with respect to aspect ratio (since all aspect ratios are rectangular) so it makes sense to say "square but with more vertical pixels" given the context.

Been using my pair for skiing. I usually wear bone conduction headphones and bring a gopro that I rarely use. Anything dual use instantly gets priority for me. The ease of recording has allowed me to capture some fantastic moments that I would have missed fumbling around with a gopro.
Only gripe is the limited duration video clips that they implemented to prevent overheating the batteries strapped to your face.

Insta 360 Go 3…fits on the front of the helmet visor…or on the visor of your basecap. Magnetic fitting on every metal surface. Best of two worlds

Looks really promising, not quite there yet, but for Gen 1 it looks really good. Really like the angle you get from eye level.

These are gen 2 - still remarkably better than the gen 1 stories.

The lack of landscape and the 60 second limit are my only gripes. I actually got mine for cycling and sharing personal clips. There’s no way to frame anything beyond live streaming so yea… enough said right there, no way it’ll replace even a phone camera lol.
Speakers are surprisingly great and plus you can hear around you while you ride. Ai and real time translations were not expected when I bought them but they’re impressively useful. Extra bonus, these were actually covered by my insurance so free!

Crazy what the GoPro effect is. I was up on that trail yesterday and it’s much steeper than what it appears to be.

Can you do a video review of current good mountain bike upgrades, I'd like to bring my 2010 Norco Katmandu up to date with new cranks, bb, brakes and shifters for a 14 speed 7x2

I think the clear lenses would be great as safety glasses for working in the shop - being able to video the entire process of taking something apart would be so much better than stopping to take a photo at each step!

They seem pretty amazing. And they are fairly affordable. I'd like to document my delivery rides on my cargo bike without a ridiculous rig on me. I definitely would need bifocal transition lenses to be able to wear them for more content creation when off of my bike.

Great video - TNX! Is it safe to downhill with them? won't they fly off on hard bumps? I would think on putting an elastic stip to hold them glued to my head. Or is it unnecessary?
