I was on a trail on the side of a cliff. A grizzly Sow and 2 cubs were claiming the trail. Three of us scrambled off the trail as high as we could, to let them pass. The sow could care less. The two cubs were curious and wanted to check us out, and started up towards us. We all had bear spray, but spraying her cubs did not seem like the wisest strategy. They got to about 20 feet from us and lost interest. Bear encounters don't always follow a formula.
One of my moms friends could have benefited from a 357. Years ago she was working as a geologist. She wanted to have a gun with her out in the field. She was told no. She had a run in with a bear and got both her arms torn off. It seems like bear spray would be good to have, but a 357 would be nice as backup.
i was attacked and got sprayed with this stuff got help, the next day my face neck and arm were red and the skin was raised this this stuff should be sold only to people that have no criminal record or somthing wasnt very fun for me

Actually it should be Predator Spray. It works against any dangerous predator like cougar, bear or lion.
Hmmm interesting; btw have you ever had an encounter with any wild life or animal that you had to use the spray?

I love bear hunting in my hometown alaska, Cheyenne. We eat them so bear spray would just ruin the coat or rug.
