@BKD Vickers He didn't have the votes and he couldn't get them. His best chance at change now is to get Biden elected and use his influence with the people to bring his policies to the table. It was the same with Clinton, had she gotten elected, then only with his help and that would have secured support for his policies. He didn't give up on change, he did what was pragmatic to get things done and, despite not liking Biden's stances, it's the best outcome for him right now. Not to forget that he did bring change into the Democratic party. But he was the only candidate not backed by lobbies and big industries and in America that is an uphill battle.

The people at the pumps were literally SCREAMING "Palin got robbed!!!" I literally feared for my life. When he won the second term, there was a sullen silence at the pumps - even more chilling than the screaming. Why Palin? Many of the churches were praying HARD that McCain would win and immediately die, turning the reins over to their puppet Palin. Nothing done to them (until AFTER the election - from what I can tell, they just got a warning). When Trump won, we experienced a huge upsurge in proselytizing by Christians - even in public places and in businesses - BY EMPLOYEES!

Bernie was mature enough to accept that reality instead of engaging in magical thinking. If Bernie won now, she could co-champion some important legislation with him (as well as her own and/or with others, as good additional creds in the intervening 4 years!). One biggie so greatly in need of immediate attention would be helping to shepherd his long-time $15 minimum wage bill though the Republican-controlled Senate (which, one can hope, might no longer be so after Nov.). Bernie has worked for $15 it since 2015 with his trademark dogged persistence. The "Fight for $15" started with 0 co-sponsors. Some signed on in the intervening years and (finally!) his bill had 30+ (!) and (finally!) passed the House LAST Spring, April, maybe (?)). Of course, it's gone nowhere in the Senate since then because minority leader Mitch McConnell, (R-KY) won't release it for debate/vote. It's quite OK with McConnell that those among our lowest paid workers continue to try to exist on a starvation wage (as they often hold 2-3 jobs as they do so. McConnell certainly wouldn't want to aid a Dem bill (especially one of Bernie's!) no matter the hardship caused to thousands/millions of us by $7.25/hr., with never one "raise" since it was enacted. #NotMe.Us
Virginia...that wouldn’t work at all. That would kill small business. And every state is completely different in costs. California wages are way high...but so is their costs. Compared to let’s say Alabama where wages are lower, but so are their costs of living. Each state has to have their own minimum wage. About all you could do is request a percentage hike in wage. Just saying.

I'm not an American but you should probably vote Biden. Think about it this way: Black people did not get the right to vote because the right people were in the White House however Martin Luther King Jr would've had a much harder time organising a peaceful movement and probably would've been assassinated much sooner if JFK wasn't in power. Firstly I can't believe the democrat voters fell for the DNC trick of fielding several candidates so as to dilute Bernies sure win. This was obvious from the very beginning of the nominee campaign. In fact I'm sure most of the world could see it. I don't get how you guys couldn't. Also Bernie was the only one giving clear and decisive facts about how working and middle class voters will be helped enormously by the legislations he avocated for, yet most voters still chose to go with the status quo (basically DNC democatics with Republicans views hidden in liberal terms). The people at the pumps were literally SCREAMING "Palin got robbed!!!" I literally feared for my life. Why Palin? Many of the churches were praying HARD that McCain would win and immediately die, turning the reins over to their puppet Palin. Nothing was done by the time I talked with her... the police wouldn't even investigate. This last election I saw the first (and most) signs for Democrats... on a ratio of about 100 to 1. (I didn't like Clinton at all, but knew what would happen if Trump won the election - and so far it's all coming true.)
I saw blatant electioneering from several churches. Nothing done to them (until AFTER the election - from what I can tell, they just got a warning).
When Trump won, we experienced a huge upsurge in proselytizing by Christians - even in public places and in businesses - BY EMPLOYEES!

One biggie so greatly in need of immediate attention would be helping to shepherd his long-time $15 minimum wage bill though the Republican-controlled Senate (which, one can hope, might no longer be so after Nov.). Bernie has worked for $15 it since 2015 with his trademark dogged persistence. The "Fight for $15" started with 0 co-sponsors. Some signed on in the intervening years and (finally!) his bill had 30+ (!) and (finally!) passed the House LAST Spring, April, maybe (?)). Of course, it's gone nowhere in the Senate since then because minority leader Mitch McConnell, (R-KY) won't release it for debate/vote. It's quite OK with McConnell that those among our lowest paid workers continue to try to exist on a starvation wage (as they often hold 2-3 jobs as they do so. McConnell certainly wouldn't want to aid a Dem bill (especially one of Bernie's!) no matter the hardship caused to thousands/millions of us by $7.25/hr., with never one "raise" since it was enacted. #NotMe.Us
Virginia...that wouldn’t work at all. That would kill small business. And every state is completely different in costs. California wages are way high...but so is their costs. Compared to let’s say Alabama where wages are lower, but so are their costs of living. Each state has to have their own minimum wage. About all you could do is request a percentage hike in wage. Just saying.

I'm not an American but you should probably vote Biden. Think about it this way: Black people did not get the right to vote because the right people were in the White House however Martin Luther King Jr would've had a much harder time organising a peaceful movement and probably would've been assassinated much sooner if JFK wasn't in power. Firstly I can't believe the democrat voters fell for the DNC trick of fielding several candidates so as to dilute Bernies sure win. This was obvious from the very beginning of the nominee campaign. In fact I'm sure most of the world could see it. I don't get how you guys couldn't.
Also Bernie was the only one giving clear and decisive facts about how working and middle class voters will be helped enormously by the legislations he avocated for, yet most voters still chose to go with the status quo (basically DNC democatics with Republicans views hidden in liberal terms). WHY?

Compare Bernie's bold, assertive statement to the tepid, inarticulate remarks Joe Biden has made on this subject, and then explain why African Americans flock to Joe and reject Bernie. I don't get it.
