These 3 Utility Metal watches are some of the best affordable timepieces to hit the market in 2023. This new range is a great take on the GM2100 series, with a metals case and a new-look fabric cloth strap. The result is a set of models with casual, neutral styles.
The GM2100C-5A features a silver-tone case and beige strap. With sandy yellow accent colours, this timepiece has an attractive, organic look. The strap is comfortable on the wrist, and the slimmer CasiOak case is always a favourite.
The second model, the GM2100CB-1A comes with a sleek all-black look. The metal and fabric have a classy appearance, and are a little edgier than the rest. Red accents on the dial complete the striking look, as well as some shiny metallic vapour deposition markers.
Last of the bunch, is the GM2100CB-3A. This watch has a lighter black ion plating than the CB-1A, and combines it with an olive green strap. Along with a set of turquoise highlights, this timepiece has a strong green theme.
Each G-Shock watch comes in at a 49.3mm lug-to-lug, 44.4mm width and 11.8mm height. Expect 20BAR water resistance and a typical set of digital functions on these watches. From a technical standpoint, these GM2100s are a step back from the Bluetooth and Solar CasiOaks, but that's also not really the point.

If the first one came with a chrome bracelet to pair with, it would be perfect! It would be much better than the current full metal Casioak, which seems to have legibility issues.
Totally agree. I am looking into a custom mod, but this 5a with a metal bracelet would be perfect. The full metal models are over priced and have poor legibility.

@@Yoko.Kurama Did get it however I was sent a test model by company and returned it. Was an excellent replica and the strap isn’t quick release. Looked a pain to change and material gets grubby over time. I ordered from elsewhere but purchased the negative display model because I prefer a black strap.
can you interchange the day and date position ? like put day to the left and month to the right ? 30/6 instead of 6/30 ?

Yes, it's possible. I already tried, resin and fabric starp have the same fixation point.

So the legibility on the negative display of the full black version is OK ?? :O
Haven't had too much trouble with it, but there are always going to be moments when a negative display struggles. I'd also say the legibility is better on the all-black than the turquoise/teal CB-3A, although it doesn't look as cool IMO.
