GFI Specular Tempus Demo (All Delay Algorithms)

Once again, GFI has packed an incredible amount of sounds into a very compact an unassuming enclosure. This pedal contains the sounds from the Specular Reverb and Clockwork Delay V3 plus additional algorithms. Specular Tempus also adds MIDI, an effects loop, Aux in and out, SpecLab software editing and a screen to easier keep track of changes, presets, etc.
Showing all this pedal has to offer in one video would have been feature length film, so I decided to break it up and display the delay algorithms alone in this segment.

Nice Demo! You forgot my favorite delay mode, though. The Tape Delay. You can access it with the software and save it onto a preset to have it on the pedal itself permanently

thanks for this demo, i have an Empress reverb but thinking of getting the GFI for the added delay. i was wondering in the Analog setting if it does that analog time-ramping sound when you turn the Time knob, if you know what i mean :) cheers

Good question! I can't remember if it does and don't currently have it with me to check! I'll try to remember to get to that.

yes it does change the pitch and heavy feedback goes into self oscillation and heavy saturation

Hi, can you say that as a delay is as good as El Capistan? I´m thinking to sell my El Capistan to buy this pedal but I love the sound of El capistan, whould you recommend it? Thanks

It's all personal preference! This pedal is way more versatile, but El Capistan is it's own special thing and so good at what it does. If you really like the tape sound of El Capistan I would stick with that. I haven't found anything else that sounds quite like it. If you want tons of options that all sound good then Tempus is a great choice.

@@meki09 I personally keep El Cap on my board and like the Spec Tempus as a swiss army knife pedal to have on hand for when the need arises.

@@MAXDECAY Can you tell me one more thing about Tempus...can I setup a delay and a reverb that I like and than when I play a song I want only the delay to be turned on and than if I want just turn on the reverb in the middle of the song? Like are they separate by the 2 switches? Thanks
