That little tweak at 3:47 added so much character to that incredible run
What a pedal, and WHAT a openning jam by Bea and Pete. Respect!
That opening jam was breathtaking. Amazing playing and amazing pedal.
I've replayed that intro so many times - so damn amazing!!
Stunning sounds lads. Just beautiful.
Listened to this in the background while doing some work. Sounded so good I'm now going back to the beginning to watch it properly and listen again.
Most beautiful jam in any Andertons videos!!
Two of the best guitarists out there right now.
The two of you should make an instrumental album :)
Completely agree.
Yeah, we wish notable and fav guitarists would make beautiful instrumental albums. And they never do.
Pete, That solo was GOD-LIKE!!!
I imagine God would be a lot better at guitar than him.
That lick Pete... you know what needs to go on your channel đ
I second that!!
We believe "that lick" is on his channel... :-)
Those guys sound dreamy together. The licks are so good.
I want to like this 100x! That first jam was awe inspiring. I have watched this video so many times.
Amazing Pedal! Great Sound & Great play!
Best pedal I've ever heard.
Ooooh, killer tones in the opening jam, amazing players with great pedals đđŒ
Finally.. A proper review. Been waiting for months
Good reverb for me blends with the dry sound as if it's one. This is one love!!!
That sounds amazing! Just the first sound alone is worth the price!
Love Drop A, love baritone, love ambiental, love afro, love everything in this video
thanks for the demo! defo on my radar for this beaut
Wow. I just don't know what to say about the mesmerizing intro. That's just insane. You guys need to release that to ITunes for us to buy
Wow I love this pedal
lately it feels like i'm watching rabea's journey into the world of atmospheric guitar music. like as if he just newly discovered his passion for it
I do all this stuff in the box, but I listened to this anyway because your jams were beautiful.
absolutely ambiental gorgeous
This pedal is the best thing I've ever heard
that sig baritone sounds so good Bea, so rich n thick, i think it has a nicer tone than the Duss, gonna have to start saving now so i can get one
At first I didn't like Pete but now he's grown on me, y'all can keep him in your videos.
Phew.
I'm glad you said that.
This thing is like my Walrus Fathom (spaced out reverb) and my Boss Katana (editing/customization capabilities and PC interface) mated and had a pedal baby, great tones!
Oh my God that Doozey sounds sublime!
Great job lads
12:34 wtf happened that was indescribably EPIC
No one says EPIC anymore.
This is one of best demos even after all these years..
I have several pedals on my wishlist and trying to decide what to get i saw this demo. I directly ordered the pedal.
đČđš! You're a beautiful player Danish Pete!
This pedal leads me to heaven đ
3:22 is exactly why Pete deserves a raise, pierced right through the feels
So goddam beautiful.!
Sounds amazing.
If delay, reverb & modulation.... Perfect!
Came for tasty ambient tones! Left completely satisfied! I could listen to that intro all day!!!
Dammit ! One of those last videos made me bought a demoed Japanese Stratocaster, and now I just fell in love with that pedal !!!
You guys are making a nuclear hole in my purse !
I think that last one there sounds like a harmonic tremolo to me, sounds great!
I really love this pedal. Not only are the reverbs out of this world, but also the delays. I've tried many delays but none cone close to the loveliness and richness of the tempuses digital delay.... not even Strymon, boss, Source audio or Empress
oh wow, I haven't tried sitting down and comparing the SpecTemp delays with my Polymoon, Flashback2, or RV-500 delays (I plan to get a DD-500 later), now that goves me an idea for killing more time =p
Great video and beautiful stuff! GFI makes the Eventide signature sound for all musician affordable.
Eventide rack units perhaps - they don't even come close in pedal form.
GFI also made Triple Switch, for additional control on tempus, even works on Strymon pedal !!
I wish I had some toast to go with that sweet jam at the start god damn
THIS IS THE EXACT SOUND IM AFTER! I NEED IT!!!
Iâm waiting for mine!
I was considering two Strymons until I saw and heard this one GFI that does both, delay and reverb.
If Iâm correct you can use the shimmer sound on the Walrus Aurdio Descent Reverb with like Everything up all the way except the volume on the left for an angels sound like the one you did.
You also lower the down octave and you put the higher octave up.
Delicious!!!
Specular Tempus in front of the amp or in the fx liop?
Love it!!!
I was going to buy the source audio Ventris and the Nemesis but I think I like this a whole lot better. I'll definitely have to buy the flashback mini for reverse delays tho
OMG that tremolo preset! i need this thing.
That intro jam. Holy shit!
A lesson of that lick would be great Pete ;-)
Luar biasa memang, Indonesia punyađ
Sib Hashian and Ricky Gervais do the best guitar demos! Great job guys! ;)
Awesome
what extra pedal(s) were they two guys playing thru? Fantastic, will go back to Andertons!
Literally ditching my Strymon El Capistan and Blue Sky for this... HUGE upgrade for anyone doing studio work because of the nearly endless features, yet simple enough to use live! I canât wait to buy mine!
Cool, can you post them to me?
Ah, you can find me. I'll give you a hug!
Yes, it's an amazing pedal for sure... But I couldn't use it live with my other midi pedals, because it doesn't have a midi out/thru... unfortunately...
andyporty ahhhh, yeah I can understand that, Iâm an analog control player myself, so in my situation Iâm giving up these strymon lower tier pedals that donât even have midi controls in the first place haha, for me personally, no issues đđŒ
Just put this at the end of your midi chain and you're good?
damn this is so smooth , that guys guitar and hawaii shirt rock lol
Viking Pete's reaction at 11:08... does Pete think about virtually everything in a "stimulating way"?!?!? LOL!!!
YES! Anything that sounds remotely like it could be an innuendo in the warped imagination of a pervert... Pete is that warped pervert! =P
Rabea going IN on this one.
+Andertons Music Co
It seems it's not spilling over when you switch from A to B. Am I right? Is there an option to do this or not possible?
The sound at 12.40 is incredible
To invest more pounds to get a combo of 2 awesome pedals Clockwork Delay + Specular Reverb?? really nothing else to say!!! On top of my next order list!!! Absolutely love this pedal!
Spoke too soon, Pete just killed it.
Within a few seconds I knew I wanted this pedal but PETE'S FACE AT 11:09 had me in stiches!
So much want!!
Both of em on point as usual.
Pete! đź
I think Iâve just . . . . Uhhh!
Your playing dude! A-MA-ZING!đžđ€€
Rabea, again, your playing. Always stunning.
Thanks for the vids guys, you keep me laughing. đ
shat yourself?
Great pedal and video - but is it only suitable for ambient styles?
Will it handle line level signals? It sounds fantastic!
This pedal needs a dual mono mode: delay to output a, reverb to output b. Delay for the main signal, shimmer reverb through a separate amp.
That way, you could use a splitter in front of the Specular Tempus, to add an overdrive to the delay and a volume pedal to the shimmer (both have to be in front of the delay or reverb...)
Oooof nice, this or the Collider to use with synths?
Has anyone found the video of "that lick" on petes channel? It's So sooo good
Has there ever been a video with Chappers and Pete jamming, I think that would be awesome
I love the Specular Reverb V2. And not so insanely priced.
All those tones...heavy in the mix but no train wreck...I want one..
Wow those tones đ I need this đ» my poor student loan .... lol
Same ugh
Jessica Heath I feel that ahahaha
Baby don't worry I take care of you.
kenneth conlon holy shit dude put it away
I just got the Tempus and havenât had a chance to use it much. With that said could this replace the specular reverb and clockwork?
I like the Sound of the left Guitar. What the brand of this Guitar ?
awesome demo, but after 15:24 you guys were stuck on edit mode, although the functionality has been updated since then, where edit mode exits when selecting a preset.
Can you do a review of the Chase Bliss Tonal Recall- Red Knob Mod
Bought a lbanez mini tube screamer & a boss harmonist ps-6 from Andertons this week, set them up together... The tube screamer first, sounds unlike anything I've ever heard, anyone else tried this? Sounds great đ
Charlie Payne An EHX Canyon will pull off most of these effects for a fraction of the price. If it's like the DX7 then 99% of users will never progress beyond the 8 presets.
Tap tempo? Iâm assuming yes. Also, is it the looper you were playing to as well?
This right here is what Neunaber should have done with their fantastic algorithms. Put all in one package with preset capability.
i havent seen the whole video... does it have tap tempo if i choose to use it for just dotted eighth delay ?
Did I miss, does it have a tap for delays? Also re the chapman guitar use, I think there seems to be a good mix of guitars for reviews. Bea is gonna use one as it's his sig guitar. Pete uses a good variety as does the captain, joss and Ariel.id rather that than constant use of select, limited run / custom shop les Paul's/prs /fender tbh.
Wow! This pedal is from Indonesia guys!
Awesome playing, please please a compilation of Danish Pete's innuendos, Carry on guitaring episode one, maybe with Pete chasing round scantily clad female guitarist Benn Hill style. đ
That intro was beautiful, tutorial please
Have you guys ever done a step filter review? Just wondering cause you can't buy the Line-6 that Frusciante uses for throw away your television, one of the only instances where that's a bearable effect aha thanks boys!
can setting up by software 2 bank is reverb - reverb or delay - delay? or must delay/reverb? thankyou
Acabo de comprar uno asi...quizĂĄ hay mejores...pero este se ajusta perfectamwnte a mi oĂdo y necesidades..y aun espacio jajaja...es brutal esta cosita jaja
I bought one, here's what I learned. It gets that beautiful sound with ease and the quality of the sound is first rate, but there are some drawbacks. It could be difficult to use live because (1) there is no volume knob and (2) there are no individual volume adjustments for the different presets. So it will be difficult to match the volume going from one preset to the next and it will be challenging to match the volume to other pedals. Also, there is no on/off switch. Not a deal breaker but can be annoying.
Only eight presets are available without some sort of external triggering device. There are 32 presets total, but the manual is vague about how to access the other 24. In one place it says there are three ways to do it, somewhere else I read there are two. When you go to the help menu it says there is only one and that is via midi.
The manual is particularly weak. It tells you what can be done with the pedal but is skimpy on saying how to do it. You will need to spend time poking around figuring it out on your own. So far I've been unable to find any operational info on videos. There are, however, a lot of great ones demonstrating the sounds.
The "Blend" and "Intensity" knobs set the volume of the effect and are stored in each preset.
Pressing the footswitch for the selected preset (A or B) turns it off, pressing it again turns it back on.
All 32 presets can selected using the two footswitches. The are four pages with four banks in each page, two presets per bank. You can set the number of pages to less than four to avoid having to scroll through all of them. If it is set to one page then you only scroll through eight presets.
How is the effects loop? Have you tried connecting another pedal to it?
5:48 - "So, anyway I need a haircut..." XD XD
I love reverb, I really do, but I can't help feeling that it's become our generations "80s chorus sound"
Justin Garcia nothing wrong with that I say. Just means in 30 years people will be GASâing over our âvintageâ pedals ;)
I suspect that "shimmer" will be the 10's equivalent of 80's chorus. Both are/were popular because it's such a good sound, but you really can have too much of a good thing.
80s was chock full of reverb too, and it was glorious.
Gated reverb on the drum kit: instant 80's.
@@JoshuaBatch Vintage digital? Doubt it.
Was there a compressor in front of that? If not that's one hell of a pedal!
