  • Seeing my favorite rappers posting the same style of pictures and not being able to recreate that look with a digital camera made me want to pick up film photography. In this video, I will be reviewing my very first film camera, showing some sample pictures, giving alternatives to the Yashica T4 and giving some camera specs and explaining why I think it is one of the greatest point and shoot film cameras ever made.

Nice that you made a comparison to the other similar cameras, and nice to see a new age review. 4 years ago when i was buying my Mju 2 and Mju 1, there wasnt so many reviews out there, this time i think im going with a Yashica, i have a rangefinder the CLE with a 35 C Biogon, i just need a new point and shoot now.

In the 90's these had a rep as being the pocket camera that pro shooters would use. They also had a lot of hype because of Terry Richardson. I had two, the first one was magic, but was sadly lost, or stolen at a club. The second was almost, but not quite as good. I mostly used to use mine with the fastest film I could find for shooting at parties and clubs.

Best 35mm camera is a bold statement. Even as a point and shoot I wouldn’t call it the best. It also depends on what you want it for because if all you want it for is IG, a disposable is just as good lol.

Thank you for sharing your review - I got the Yashica T4 Super waterproof 3.5/35 and it didn't come with a manual - I was shooting away on the camera when I first got it 6 months back and I feel in love with photography all over again. The more I used it the more I had a hard time focusing and capturing the moment - It would take more than a few clicks to take a photo but when it does take a photo the moment has passed especially on AF at night. My recent roll of film came back and more than half of the images came out blurry. Do you recommend bringing it in to have it looked at or it is what it is for this camera
