    Just bought this vacuum at target last night and used it today!! The extension hose is way too short for anyone over 5 feet tall and the bare floor mode is a joke....you will constantly need to keep the rollers engaged!! Will be cleaning the vacuum up and taking it back!!

      To bad target doesn’t vacuums like these anymore because nowadays the vacuums they sell are trash these were actually good vacuums.

    This is a great unit. some of the info in the video is very wrong but if you read the manual you should be good to go. The filter is washable and needs to be replaced from time to time. The indicator also goes red when the hose is clogged and when the dirtcup is full. but if you maintain it like you do your car your unit should work fine

    You test its no loss of suction with cereal??? Why not dust or even better, talcum powder? Cereal won't clog up a vacuum.

  • @fentonsewnvac
    @fentonsewnvac Před 13 lety

    Most vauums will pick up pet hair if their belt is not strecthed out. most people do not change them often enough. Pet hair is not that diffacult, deep cleaning your carpet which can double it's life is much harder to do. As far as the Charcoal hepa filter is concerned, It is not a truley sealed certified HEPA filter. Therefore there is plenty of dust and oders escaping from around the filter. HEPA is a very misued term.

  • @fentonsewnvac
    @fentonsewnvac Před 13 lety +1

    I don't believe I'm a hypocrite. We do sell the Hoover T-Series we just don't sell the "PET" version. And we explain to customers the differances between vacuums. If the customer decides they want one vac over the other, for whatever reason, It is their money to spend as they like. I just think they should be given the right information to make that choice. We have vacuums starting @ $59.95. Not everyone can afford a better vacuum. We make no secret of the fact we are a retailer.

  • @fentonsewnvac
    @fentonsewnvac Před 13 lety

    As tto the dirt on your fill tube, I would suggest useing the certified HEPA filter bag for your Kirby. I'm not sure what you mean about selling their soul to TTI. and Dirt Devil. Dirt Devil is / was a part of Royal appliance prior to TTI buying them. Dirt Devil was just their plastic devision that made lower end products for the Jumbo marts of the world. They still produce a quality product, just owned by another company. I'm sure for enough money Kirby would sell out. Everything is for sell

  • @fentonsewnvac
    @fentonsewnvac Před 13 lety

    So tell me, what is it that makes this vacuum a pet vacuum? What has Hoover done differantly to this vacuum then theuy did on other vacuums? What improvement was made to make it better a picking up pet hair?

  • @fentonsewnvac
    @fentonsewnvac Před 13 lety

    As far as the rubber flippers on the turbo tool, it might be of some help but it does nothing for carpet cleaning. Also the pet hair gets wrapped around the brush roll and turbine after only a few uses and then does not turn very fast. People should consult true floorcare professionals about their needs and get the real scoop and not but their vacuums based on cute commercials written buy marketing depts that are designed to appeal to their emotions.

  • @vacuumlover1
    @vacuumlover1 Před 13 lety

    @rayy56 My point is royal is a washed up company that has to use designs from tti floor care (hoover, dirtdevil) to get by. They are no better than this t-series.

  • @fentonsewnvac
    @fentonsewnvac Před 13 lety

    That sacrifice is their choice to make. I just think they should know the facts and not buy their next vacuum based on advertising and marketing BS. Vacuums today are designed by marketing depts. to sell vacuums not truely do the best job at deep cleaning carpet. vacuums that call themselves pet vacuums are a prime example of this type of marketing. Vacuums with the tools on board are better a cleaning carpet than vacuums with tools onboard. That is a fact of physics not just an opinion.

  • @fentonsewnvac
    @fentonsewnvac Před 13 lety

    You may be a vacuum collector but at the tender age of 18 you still have allot to learn about vacuums. First of all the Royal design was around long before TTI bought Hoover so it is not a TTI design. I was selling Royals when you were just a twinkle in your daddys eye. Royals are made of lightweight durable aluminum not plastic. I have sold many Royals that are still working after 20 ot 30 years. There is no way a Hoover T-series will last that long. And you still did not answer my question.

  • @fentonsewnvac
    @fentonsewnvac Před 13 lety

    Dude, your point is? My point is, HSN does not seem to be able to answer my questions. If they are going to claim to be experts at recomending product, then they should be able to answer questions that a consumer might ask . Perhaps you know the answer. What makes this vacuum so special that it is classified as a "pet vacuum"? Or is it just a marketing ploy to tug at the heart strings and emotions of pet owners. It's a simple question.

  • @fentonsewnvac
    @fentonsewnvac Před 13 lety

    Surveys have shown that people do care about getting their carpets clean. Problem is they don't really know what makes a vacuum work. They don't really get an education at the local Jumbo mart and they certainly don't get a true education from buying from HSN. Its all about agitation and airflow. Suction is no good without airflow. Most vacuums with the tools onboard have great suction and little to no airflow. Customers sacrifice truely clean carpets for the convience of having on board tools.

  • @fentonsewnvac
    @fentonsewnvac Před 13 lety

    I always find it hard to believe that anyone would buy a vacuum from HSN. But then I find it hard to believe that anyone would buy a vacuum without first trying it out for themselves. These "Script readers" don't know one end of a vacuum from another. Yet people will take their word for its ability and buy it. I just don't get it.

  • @maryoassyrian2007
    @maryoassyrian2007 Před 12 lety +1

    HSN just sells the product. Julie Truster works for Hoover and sells the product. They show the features and performance and sell the product. Done. You are on the internet arguing with one of the most arrogant people on CZcams. your wasting your time arguing with someone who just works for a vacuum shop. Don't waste your time on him.

  • @majorghn
    @majorghn Před 13 lety

    Removable pet brush is a gimmick.....had one before.....unless it has it's own power it's useless!! The moving air is not enough to keep the brushes moving when it touches carpet!!
    Their all like that not just Hoover!!

  • @fentonsewnvac
    @fentonsewnvac Před 13 lety

    It still does not answer my question about what makes this vacuum a great vacuum for pet hair as oposed to other models in their lineup that have the same faetures but don't list those models as pet vacuums. If your staff are such experts, they shouold be able to answer this question. By the way, If you do an search for that model, you are not such a bargin. I found that vacuum for as little as $99.99 on E-bay. I guess your not such a great bargin after all

    J'ai rarement rencontré des aspirateurs autant mal conçus. Cable électrique trop court, crosse qui ne cesse de se séparer du tube (lui aussi trop court obligeant à passer l'aspirateur le dos courbé) , les roulettes qui se contrarient et empêchent un déplacement correct de l'aspirateur.
    Une vrai cochonnerie. :(

    @rayy56 What i also found kinda pointless is how you threw the age factor at me about how royal is from 1906. So is kirby. Hello roto-matic canister? used water? james kirbys first working vacuum? Yeah. just because its from 1906 does not mean it cleans better. it just means they are a old company. And keep in mind your talking about a "Quality" company that sold their soul to tti and DIRTDEVIL for MONEY

    • @CRRoper1
      @CRRoper1 Před 4 lety

      I didn't find the company being around since 1906 pointless. It's remarkable and very impressive that this company is still one of the top selling. "I'm going to get one like my parents, grandparents and great-grandmother who was born around that time . I must add.

    • @Ramcharger18
      @Ramcharger18 Před 5 lety

      Yea I use royals for my carpet cleaning business and they are hands down the best deep cleaners on the market. Sanitare makes a great vacuum as long as u only pick up normal dirt. They do not cope well with rocks, paper clips, or staples and in a commercial setting this gets annoying. Royal is the way to go!
