I'm not in a good place right now and someway, somehow, knowing what Jae told us in his Instagram live, I don't feel as lonely and hopeless as I have been feeling these past few days. I'm so glad he is going to share this part of himself with us.

Melanie I couldn't see his live and in my groupchat I explained to two of my friends why i felt like breaking down (at the moment one of them said jae is live) but she's going to visit me today in class and I'm glad she understands how serious i am about those topics. Honestly I've never been diagnosed with depression or anxiety but everyday is slowly killing me for the past years and I've cried the whole night knowing their holding their concert in Amsterdam while i was so close to go but ended up without enough money and crying on my bed.

We are all here for you, ” is best to follow heavily rather than the messenger themselves. The worst-case scenario could play out and Day6 could disband, but the message still stands. They care about you, and you don’t have to be a fan that goes to their concerts for them to know that there could be somebody like you out there struggling that they want to support through their music. mind blowing how eaj started as a little side project where he'd release little "snippets", as he called them. now jae's performing at 88rising's head in the clouds festival, with some of the biggest asian american artists in los angeles. watching him grow as an individual artist, as eaj, is truly so beautiful. i'm so proud of jae. i can't wait to see what he has in store in the future.

The last lyric before “X” is “keep you in my eyeline” and then the last line is “cross the sight.” It’s a play on words between those two lyrics because in English, we usually say “keep you in my eyeSIGHT” and “cross the LINE” meaning that he wants to cross over the line between his current state and the place and or person he wants to be.

Honestly though I’m really happy that he’s starting to explore new things. He mentioned that he felt like he lost him self on his ig live and I’m glad he’s starting to find and improve himself again. The fact he is confident, and has enough trust in us to share things like this, is utterly amazing. His voice has improved so much in these past 4 years, and I really look forward to the future.
