True Khoon aur pani ek saath nahi jatey! However, where is India going to put Sindhu water? There is enough water for both counties, they do not even use it efficiently! This is much to do about nothing! India nor Pakistan use water sufficiently. India must build dams and irrigation to use more of Sindhu water. India has a right to use at least 30% of the water from Himalayan rivers regardless of the agreement. China took majority of Brahmaputra river water without consulting with India. Water is life.
I surprised about intention of JN Nehru. He constructed Farakka Barrage to stop water at Padma and dried up bangladesh. but was very much generous to west pakistan and allow to flow water through pakistan.
And Shaizab don't be under the impression that u will be getting support from Indian Muslims. they will support India all the way.

First it will take 7 to 10 years for India to build dam and canals second they cannot withdraw from that treaty even their has been 3 wars after that agreement. And it will cause huge flooding in India which the damage will be in millions $. It will be international pressure on India if they do so.

No need to do that. What is the point except to assert one's perceived right? Yet, India has the right to utilise the water power available in its territory (in any case Pakistan can't do that) & leaving the flow down-stream to Pakistan. Pakistan should know that.

percent of that water.
