- What was supposed to be a routine morning going out for salmon fishing in Bodega Bay turned into a boaters worst nightmare. My motor died on the way out. Luckily I wasnt to far out and I used my kicker motor to get back in. Back on the docks fellow fisherman and youtuber DJ The Fisherman saw me. Heard what happened and invited my friend Eric and I on his boat. We took them up on there generous offer. The salmon fishing has been slower, so expectations were hopefully we could find a couple fish. What happened next was unexpected. Turned out to be everyone's best day of salmon fishing!

Oh man. Great action. Some of those net attempts I was yelling “not yet” at my phone. I’ve also lost a few too many not letting big kings get tired and waiting for that head to be up or getting caught in the rigger. Some mistakes you just gotta learn the hard way. Kings have a way of shaking hooks at the net. Keep the videos coming
