There are many interesting theories and even physical evidence to back much of it, but always the skeptic until proven beyond a doubt , I don’t believe the official narrative on almost everything. Timelines are impossible to prove, and history resets can occur every few generations, and repopulated infrastructure, turn key cities where the people don’t seem to fit. Argue me ta about technology, geometry, infrastructure and more, make great distractions as well as curiosity and we are learning fast , as it is said that all things will be known in the end times.

Here in deep in the hearts of Kalimantan, the Indonesian Borneo, in Tewah, there's a family whose genes was somehow 2% not found in common ancestors for the Dayak (Austronesian Haplogroup). The family, in an interview, mentioned the story of how generations ago their ancestors sailed from Yunan to mine gold in Monterado, West Kalimantan, and when they settled in what would eventually be Tewah/Gunung Mas area, there was a group of giant, red haired, dark skinned (but not negroid/aboriginal) people who are humanoid by appearance but not in any way look like humans and these people spoke a distinct dialect of Dayaknese. The family mentioned these people were the true inhabitants of Borneo. The ancestors of the family decided to mingle with these red haired giant Proto-Dayak and eventually starts the family lineage. The family mentioned due to the comings of russian and portugese missionaries, the red haired giants decided to move from the area into the jungles and eventually that was the last time the family have ever made a contact. If anyone is interested, just go to Gunung Mas in Kalimantan, the family still lives there in a small village called Marikoi

These stories are similar to some I was told before. During the height of the Mongol Empire, the Yuan Dynasty in China brought back to Peking, giant warriors 12 to 13 foot in height. They were fully armored and proportionate, carried massive spears and massive bows and across. There would be 2 of these giant warriors on every imperial gate to the city.
I forgot, I think it was Marco polo who recounted the history while he was a distinguished guest of Yuan court.
Where these giant warriors came from was anyone's guess. But at that time, the Mongols controlled the largest landmass empire ever in human history so they could have been brought from far away

The simple facts, due to the evidence that exists, are that there never has been any material artifacts or otherwise existing in their collections that are proven to have come from or support the existence of a giant race of people that once populated anywhere on earth. So, the Institute has never said, “Oops! We destroyed them.” But they have said.; “ I wish these idiots would stop asking us this question!”

By "diverse" do you mean the exact opposite? As for centuries, thousands upon thousands of the best genetics of men alone who have been lost due to how many times humans have killed and led others to kill other human beings in immature battles that erode our collective possible genetics. Wasting biological human potential by wasting it away through "justified" mass executions and large scale gang fights we are conditioned to call war? If humanity is like a great boulder, humans have been recklessly stonecutting with little to no purpose, foresight, or self-awareness of long term and unforseen consequences. Etching away at us constantly, likely destroying all manner of genetic variation like a giant would have as it serves these pointless ""righteous and deserved"" conflicts.

If u take two seconds to type "are humans more or less genetically diverse than in the past", ull realise our genes used to be more diverse.
As far as recordings go, there hasnt rlly been a giant set of humans (moreso just giant individuals which occurs in ever civilisation once in a while). History/science doesnt necessarily say giants didn't exist, it simply says we have no evidence of them existing so we dont know if they did. Which means, if we dont know, the answer to "did giants exist?" Is not "yes" its "we dont know" or "we dont have any accepted evidence of it". Also believe me if giants existed and there was substantial evidence, history journals and science journals would be clambering over eachother to get to publish it, the idea would spread like wildfire. Its not like its a conspiracy, no one is out here going "grrr i better make sure no one finds out giants existed" cause why would they?

Well the “patagones” were truly gigantic by the height standards of those times, and would still be among the tallest, if not the tallest peoples in the world, averaging around 6’4/193 cm on men. They are not so much as legends, as we have even photo evidence of them; they didn’t even went truly extinct that long ago. Something that differentiates them from other exceptionally tall ethnicities like the masai or even people from the dinaric alps to some extent is that unlike them they were not slim and slender with an “elongated” look. They were big in every sense, they had very broad shoulders, muscular arms, wide backs, strong and thick legs, huge hands and feet.
Other thing about them that was rare in american tribes was that they had thick and dense beards, and rarely removed them. Most native americans had very little to no beard, and what little they had was usually removed.

    • @T-GOB
      @T-GOB Před 2 lety +24

@@Gaboxxy96 Of course, it does not seem that this specific case of giants is all that accurate, but are rather a population of large homo sapiens. What is interesting however about the Flores Man is that it does not appear, at least with current evidence, to be a Homo sapien but rather a relative to Homo habilis and sapien. It is therefore a human that is not a "human" in the sense of the modern use of the word, similar to how Homo neanderthalensis are not sapien humans.
Furthermore, current evidence dates it to be around 50,000 years old. This makes me wonder, because if the dating is correct, local Indonesian folklore remembered H. floresiensis via oral history for 50,000 years. That alone warrants a discussion about how many ancient "myths" of giants may have had a more literal basis in a biological organism in the genus homo that was extraordinarily large, but was not numerous and due to its size, was not viable and went extinct.
There may have very well been more members of the genus Homo that we have absolutely no fossil record for, and perhaps they will forever remain unknown and only persist through random mythologies. Maybe there was once a genus of human with pointy ears, giving rise to the idea of fantasy elves. That is a stretch, I know, but it is indeed interesting.

“Patagón” literally means “Big Footed” in Spanish (“Patagão” in Portuguese), hence Patagonia means, literally, “Land of the Big Foot”.
Most Continental Patagonia aboriginal inhabitants were large bodied, oftentimes taller than the average Europeans of that time.
Due to the harsh Patagonian climate, they wore animal skins for dress and thick, flurried and/or layered animal skins for shoes, which left a very large footprint.
The Continental Patagonian Aborigines Shoes and its large footprint explains how the first Europeans to arrive there named them (“Patagón/Patagones”), their land (“Patagonia”), and their taller than average Europeans height, plus the “creative license” and “imagination” of Europeans artists, would explain those exaggerated drawings of massive giants.
And then we have the Insular Patagonian Aborigines, particularly the Onas from Tierra del Fuego, which were considered among the Tallest people of all the Americas, until its genocide by the European settlers, its extinction as a people, and the quick intermarriage and mixing into the Argentine and Chilean mainstream of the very few survivors.
The Onas were usually naked, “dressed” with body paintings, and were known for traditionally making massive community bonfires, visible for European sailors from very long distances, long before any landings in Tierra del Fuego and/or any contacts with its inhabitants.
Hence the Europeans naming their Island Tierra del Fuego (“Land of Fire”).

Hello I am from the province of Tierra del Fuego more specifically, from the city of Rio Grande. In my opinion, if we look at where Magellan passed by, I don't think he saw Tehuelches. If I pass closer to the island of Tierra del Fuego, I might have spotted Selknam's, which more or less corresponds to the physical build you are talking about. They were nomadic, lived more to the north of Tierra del Fuego Island, wore guanaco skins for protection, were about 6 feet tall and always used bows and arrows for hunting. I imagine that in comparison to the Spanish people at that time, 6 feet tall they were very tall. Not only were they tall but they were also very corpulent.
Now, if they went down or saw the other side of the Strait of Magellan, towards Rio Gallegos, or Punta Arenas in Chile, they could have met the Alacalufes who, due to their geography, not only hunted guanacos but also fished and looked more like the Selknam's than the Yamans who were from the southern part of the island of Tierra del Fuego. The Yamans were only fishermen and did not go to the north of Tierra del Fuego Island because they were afraid of the Selknam's because they were bigger than them. The average yamana living in the ushuaia area was about 5'6" because they lived bent over doing their daily chores especially when canoeing or gathering near the coast on the south side of tierra del fuego.

Sarah Winnemucca, the granddaughter of Chief Winnemucca had a ceremonial dress made from the red hair of these giants. The Dinka People in South Sudan had an 1.80 m (5"11') average hight with some individuals taller than 2.10 m (7"). Because of the well known genetic isolation of some of the South American natives, it's easily possible that there were some very tall tibes that the Europeans encountered, even if they weren't "giants". So I checked our family tree and found Henrik Brustad, 7,5 feet high, who became an attraction at Barnums. Interestingly all of them were born around the same spot the most famous giant viking came from. His name was Rollon, or Gange Rolv, which means walking Rolf, since he was too tall to ride a horse. He was given the region he would call Normandy, from the term Normann, which still today is what norwegians call each other. His grand daughter married the future king Huguet Capet, thus all french kings after this were descendents from a giant viking. Turns out the giants among vikings came from Azerbadjan, where they had fleed originally from Troy. Could well be they were descendents from giant Nefilim, as is told in the bible, that is part angels, part human.

They looked like living Tiki statues. These boys made Samoans look average size. These boys had calf muscles literally the size of basketballs and they all weighed somewhere near 600 lbs each. From what I heard, tourists are not allowed in Rotuma, maybe they are keeping the last giants safe from breeding with non-giants? P.S. these boys feet were nearly as wide as they were long, from being raised barefoot and bearing all that weight. Oh- and they dig up giant bones in Tonga from time to time, like when they rebuilt the gate around the royal palace in Tonga, they dug up some giant bones and the story circulated in Tonga. You won't hear this story anywhere, unless you speak to a Tongan. It's quite common for Tongans to still be very tall, and Fijians are known for their height as well.

They are also on old maps in US. Nevada was known as land of the giants, go around or be killed. They found 2 dead, in a cave not that long ago. A male and a female. Utah also found a huge 1, dead, near a creek that had partially dried up.

Yes and there's been much more than that ... dozens of giants remains found and published in US news papers only to have been completely made into children's myth after the post world War period

Because shorter framed people exist and happened to produce maps? Or perhaps for the same reason why dragons and kraken show up on older maps, for grandiose illustrations. 7 feet tall is where I cap it until a skeleton is found and explained.

Well it wouldn't be confirmed if all the evidence was seized afterwards anyways and theres no way for anyone to confirm that they didn't exist either, the absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence and it's also important to consider Giants are something that has been talked about in almost all cultures thousands of years even before the Europeans arrival to the Americas.

There are tall, big-boned indigenous peoples who still exist in southern South America to this day. They are of distinct tribes co-inhabiting areas amongst other tribes whose people are of much smaller --- shorter and thinner --- stature. I've seen them myself. By today's standards they probably would not seem that out of place. But to the early explorers, who were much shorter than Europeans today, they could have very well seemed like giants, or at least giant-like, particularly given not necessarily their height, but their bigger, thicker bones and other features. I'm 6 feet even, but when go to NBA basketball games and sit courtside behind the bench, I feel as if I am amongst giants.

Anyone ever heard of the Abraham Lincoln speech where he talks about giants???
“When Columbus first sought this continent---when Christ suffered on the cross---when Moses led Israel through the Red-Sea---nay, even, when Adam first came from the hand of his Maker---then as now, Niagara was roaring here. The eyes of that species of extinct giants, whose bones fill the mounds of America, have gazed on Niagara, as ours do now.”

We have a speech from Abraham Lincoln in the library of Congress website talking about Giants, giants bones in graves and scattered discoveries and many native stories that include artifacts. This is all easily accessible public info that you can find while researching a topic for a video. There's a nearly identical video published with the same sources and story made about a year ago. Please be respectful of history and please don't plagiarize a bunk video.

Totally could be dinosaurs he was talking about on that speech. Totally could be about the the limestone rock w a huge humanoid footprint or the giant humanoid graves nearby. I'm searching for another one he mentioned giants. Should've bookmarked them.

Considering that people like Andrei the giant exist, and there are real people as large 8’ 3” alive today, it seems to perfectly possible that the recessive gigantism trait was commonly present in a certain part of the world a few centuries ago, but as contact with the outside world grew the recessive trait became less and less prevalent. These people weren’t giants so much as they were just very tall people.

most of the guys over 8ft or more cant walk ,without a walking stick or some type of aid...or even if they can eventually the height counts against them and this has been known for a long time..its known now that anyone whos very tall ,the height counts against them as they age..

But that recessive trait has never produced consistent results, enough for an entire population, as described by these stories, to exist.
      It's always some one off.
