Super late comment obviously, but I had the same thought process. I stopped my base at the little house, and the rock on the other side. nothing ever got by. I have nothing on the back side its completely open and works because the machines only attack the front side
yeah its one of only 2 bases that doesnt get attacked from all sides yet people somehow dont like the base which boggles my mind!

no i should apologise! didn't mean for it to come across negative by any means nor was it aimed at you man im sorry about that! i wanna help people who are struggling with this game as much as i can and if you have any other questions or things youd like to see a video on be sure to let me know
What are the spawn locations for the "building blocks" base down south? That's the one that new players get and I imagine the one used for farming the most just because you can ride your bicycle to it quickly.
New players that don't even have safehouses to travel shouldn't be doing base defense

Hey my dude my wife and I just recently started playing this game and we love it just unlocked the building so we can now do our own compound lol when u demolish walls and the other items do u get any of the resources back ? I’ll sub u seem chill great video by the way
that's life goals right there my friend! and yes but i believe its only half of what the wall actually cost you in materials

My pillboxes die so quickly tho, making me not even profiting in cement after defense
yeah kinda useless tbh, there just good for holding large quantities of ammo
I have done about 7 base defense missions on hard and many T3 base assaults, yet I haven’t got any experimentals from them. The experimentals I do have are from the reaper and 1 is from a T4 rival. I feel like I’m missing something. (My character is level 32)
try doing them on easy and medium difficulty, i feel as though the more you get shot and die the less likely you are to get a good drop so doing them on hard is probably not the best option

If it is undamaged, yes.
Im just getting all the bad luck all i get are experimental clothing.
Curious but can the pillboxes shoot trough a security fences?
haven't tested that out but i doubt it as they dont really do much

its the best location yes but im sure i could make it better to be more defended :)
I can't build bases on xbox, it appears to press "rs" but the "rs" is flashlight and it cannot be changed.. lol
game is super buggy after the new update
I'm on xbox. If I press rs it activates the flashlight but if I hold rs the menu comes up fine for me

you haven't done the mission building blocks that lead you into base building?
So if i understand correctly i can build a base and im hosting server but my friend that joins me cannot build on my server....does he need to pass the mission building blocks on his story as well because when i done that mission he was no present at my server please help😢and he does not have a new game started yet on his side

your base has to have the base defence mission marker next to it and then you just go over to the truck and select your difficulty
