Today we're bringing you in on one of our newer trials here at the PTI Farm related to organic corn. Specifically, we want to walk you through how we handled weed control this past year in an organic corn environment using a Treffler Tine Weeder.
P.S. - You might notice that Jason quickly "grew" a ponytail by the end of this video! 😂 If you were at the PTI Farm this summer, you know we debunked one of the misconceptions around organic farming that it's only being done by farmers with long hair and ponytails. We're always challenging the status quo, regardless of hair length!

Why not try growing vetch , tricale, clover, peas,, then strip till into that, leaving cover ggrowing till corn is 8in tall then interrow roll cover down, organic does need alot on tillage just enough.

Have you tried soy meal as a N source ?
