I just installed mine yesterday. I usually rock a burris 11x5.5 for the nimbleness. I'm not a big fan of 11x6 or anything larger than that with the exception of the Maxxis 11x6.5. Anyways to the Enduro. First thing I noticed was how good the edge hold is and how far you can lean into the tire on a carve. Turns on a dime on edge. More nimble than any 11x6 or larger tire out there that I have tried. For a tire being so wide it can hang with my 11x5.5. Of course it's not as nimble, but i would say it feels like a 11x5.75 tire if one was ever made. Grippy, soft, stable and still playful. I think this is the best all around tire for the XR. Higher PSi for street and drop it for Dirt. I had 20 psi, which is a little on the firm side, but felt good on street and even dirt.
Lines up with how I feel, thank you so much for the detailed feedback. I too am impressed with how well it holds an edge, yet still turns on a time. You'd think a wider contact on edge would slow down quick 180 whips, but not with this tire! Agile and grippy at the same time!

I only ride streets so curious on the range loss compared to a true slick. I don't care as much as long as it's stable 🙂
Hmmm, that's a good question. Only slick I've ridden is the Vega, but I think that PSI level will make more of a difference. The Enduro's shape narrows as more air is put in. Think how those road bikes have super narrow rims/tires vs a bike with phat boy tires. A thinner contact and lightweight tire will give you more range I believe.

Not that I'm aware of... Some of the bike guys might give you the stink eye, but just be respectful and courteous to anyone else who rides there. I try to give the bike guys the right of way since they ride fast and fly high, but also many of them maintain the track.

Hmm, I'm sure I can add that to the list of video ideas (I do wipe down my board a lot for photos, it's the main subject afterall!).

Yea, definitely. The stock GT treaded is thick and hard ....😏, which is great for making it last longer, but those of us who like to ride trails need a softer ride. I honestly got bucked off the first time I tried to ride my GT out in the desert here. Even dropping the PSI a ton didn't help as much as a softer tire does.
