Honestly, it doesnt seem too bad to me. I feel like the accuracy and armor could be dependant on rng like a lot of other tanks (like how people hit the hatch of my is7 or how my grille 15 cant hit the broad side of a barn from the inside). The dpm is definitely poor but so is the dpm on the centauro and I love that tank. Hell, some people called the centauro the worst tier 10 medium and Im sure they'll call this the worst tier 10 heavy but I still think I'll enjoy it. Better an ok tank than something completely broken. Good job on the review, excited to see your video for the era 2 CW tank as well as the calliope
its objectively bad but that doesn't mean you cant have fun in it. Its just a 'meh' tank. Not terrible, not great, just meh
Centauro has mobility and Decent armour for it tbf.
I agree tho id prefer sub par tanks especially in the season pass on initial release then given love later then AVRE/Taran issues

Great review - I'll be keeping my 4k gold for next season I think. There are too many different issues to make it worthwhile. A buff of the intra-clip (to, say, 2.5 seconds?) would make it more playable - you could've finished off that AVRE in the first game 🙂

Thanks for the review. I think I'll be skipping this one too. Love the armor, but the long intra makes me wish it was a single shot even if it had the same dpm. At least then you wouldn't have so much downtime with that long reload.

The 35 second reload in order to reliably do 1500 damage isn't the worst - but it does make the tank feel very strange. Like if it just had a standard 130mm gun with a 10 second reload I think this would actually be a better tank. Handling / gun handling puts it firmly into the 60TP category of a lot of shots requiring wishful thinking. But I have found the armour waaaaay more reliable than almost any other tank in the game.
I got like 20 games on this tank and i think it’s good it needs help from its teammates I was in a 3 man and they ran a 60tp and E100 and i played the role of clean up crew mostly and its great for that and its a ridge line tank with the right perks and equipment it can have great games
It's not bad bad but the Dpm and handling leaves a lot to be desired

And to add this tank with 4 rounds and 3.5 sec between rounds would make this amazing or no auto loader and just the 130m with like a 9-10 sec reload would have be better
3 rounds 3 secs would be good, clip potential would be a little high with 4 for me
Cut the intra clip to 3 secs and give it an extra round to make up for that long ass reload and it would be pretty good I think…

If you give it another round it would have over 2k clip potential which is just stupid for a heavy tank. It would be the most overpowered thing. The armour is pretty decent, mobility isn’t awful, gun fires apcr premium, it’s got too many upsides already to have another shell in the clip. Reduce the reload to 30 seconds base and you’d have a decent but not OP tank. With crew skills your reload will be low 20 seconds, not far off the T57 heavy, but you’d do slightly less damage
There’s only two tanks in the game with that clip potential, the waffle e100 and the Foch 155 with the 155mm and the 120mm has even more per clip

It’s not the worst I’ve had a couple of decent games in it only problem is the length of reload time is far too long

Tankers complain about the centerian because the op tank , but they use it. Tankers complain about a under performing tank that is released , but u still get it. Don't be a complainer and just tank on. As far as consumables and ammo, just deal with it. It's in the game. You won't get a t10 premium tank for 4000 gold in the store, so it's a good deal. Thanks, wG, giving us a t10 premium for 4000 gold. Others will complain about the deal u gave us. Don't worry doesn't matter what kind of tank u put out it's not going to be good for some reason but yet tankers will use!
No one's complaining about the deal, tbh I just tell you how it handles, which is poorly, I'm all for something coming out not great and then assess how it does later down the line

You can’t really compare this with the mino. The mino has a turret too, just doesn’t rotate all the way. But vastly superior armour and an amazing reload. The intra clip on that tank doesn’t matter because you can just clip basically anything that yolo’s you

Only played 1 game in it so far, but from that 1 game I can deduce that the gun is utterly horrible, takes a year to aim in and has very bad dispersion, I only hit 4 out of 12 shots in my game so all the gun equipment is a must, armour is great.... until people load gold which they can then pen you anywhere on the front. But ill play a few more games at some point to see if the gun equipment helps.
That's my experience tbf mate in 15 games
My first game was 5k but i think that’s largely due to people not knowing the tank yet.

Yeah but everyone is firing gold now a days. There’s only one single tank in the game that nullifies gold rounds and that is the Minotauro. That thing is basically invincible hull down. That’s the tank I play when I’ve had enough of gold spam. Every other tank in the game can be penned frontally with gold. Even IS7 turrets
And the turret on this thing can’t really be penned with gold. It’s very decent. It has the smallest cupola in existence which is only a problem if they’re aiming down on you
The lower plate is about 270 effective when angled. So gold is literally the only ammo that can reliably pen you frontally if you’re showing the lower plate

Its fun if its in a +1-1 MM but it often pairs with t8. Then its absolute garbage. Its basically just a M4 Sherman with a 6 shot HE-Clip ontop

It’s definitely different than the other Chinese tier 10 heavies, but it seems pretty bad to me. Think the WZ-1115A is still the way to go.

When this thing came out on PC, everyone disliked it also. And the console people just copy/pasted it in, not a single stat change.

But pc has much slower games than we do, so this tank works much better on PC. With all of the hesh cannons on console causing 15-5 blowout matches, and rapid fire arty making games even faster, yeah of course this thing isn’t gunna do well

But on console, i guess anything goes. but cant have strong heavies. But TDs with giga pen, concealment or armor and 950 alpha - any time.

The turret is pretty resistant to gold rounds but the tank is massive so going hull down is pretty limited
I absolutely hate the autoloader. If it was a standard single shot gun the tank would have alot better potential

Ive been playing for 8 years and the only one I've already got is the mutz. Happened to be taking a break last time they gave out the 59-II
But if it was 2 seconds you'll complain and call it op... Seems like autoloaders are a problem to balence given the 15 to 1, 4 minute games we now have.
I agree it seems like a very meh season, other than the brand new tanks I got all the others... I don't know after doing all the Resolution seasons I'm a bit burnt and this definitely isn't the start of the new year's worth of content I was hoping for.

this tank doesn't suck, its just underwhelmingly mediocre/bad which is much better than having another broken monstrosity like the taran or avre. It sucked on PC as a clan wars reward tank and now its gonna suck on console. The taran and AVRE are over tuned but the 116 is objectively mediocre. A little worse than PC considering we've got more broken tanks plus they've got access to a better equipment 2.0 and crew 2.0 coming
You can have an opinion about whether something sucks or not and still complain about the stupid tanks.

The AVRE is bad for the game, almost nobody playing will argue against that. The Taran is also OP in comparison to other TD's, on larger maps. The Taran also trades extremely well on brawling maps due to its DPM, gun handling and mobility.
no silver bonus on this premium makes it worthless when it's only playable with gold rounds

Just one small change. Either buff the hit points to 2500 to give it more survivability. For the armour it has it should have more. Or decrease the reload to 30 seconds base. That would be about low 20’s with commander crew skills and equipment
The tank is pretty solid. It’s just not amazing because games are over too quickly, which is the real issue with the game. This tank would be perfectly fine 5 years ago. If you wanna play a bad tank go play an FV215b
I like it and its a skill tank. Vents over Tracks in my op.

I bought it because I can't pass up a tier 10 for basically 4000 gold but I'm not gunna lie other than pretty solid armor, this tank is a turd 💩💩💩. It should be illegal to make a tier 10 heavy with dpm as bad as this😂🤣😭 I had a few good games so far but it's definitely average or below average

That thing has even worse dpm with the auto reloader. Your first shell you fire when fully loaded takes 22 seconds to reload for 400 damage 😂😂

Yeah it's definitely a let down being the start of the year season.. only the new Era 2 I don't have, obviously, an doing a whole season just for 1 tank is meh... well I guess I need the extra silver for the new double barrel, almost done with the KV 3.

Weird that this should be the final straw, considering all the other crap that WG has shoveled onto us starting with 6.0. I have been supplementing with other games lately. BG3 and WOT on pc. There is a pre-release version of Palworld in game pass that seems like a mash up of BotW/Pokemon/Rust that I am digging.
