  • If you ever feel like you’re losing all hope after spending three sleepless nights studying for calculus, which you still don’t understand, there is no better salvation than spending a night in one of Hyde State Park’s yurts! Located in the heart of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains near Santa Fe, the forest of pines provides the perfect escape for a Lobo in need. Each of the three yurts that the park offers comes equipped with six beds, a wood burning stove, and a glass dome ceiling that’s made for stargazing. You may be thinking, stars are fun and all but what can I do during the day? Worry not! There are a number of scenic trails that can be accessed directly from the yurts themselves, and if you don’t mind a short drive, just up the road is the Aspen Vista Trail which never fails to deliver some of the best sunsets in the state. Happy yurting Lobos!
