  • In case you missed our last vlog, we are back on the road after quarantining for 3 months in Austin and we’re excited to be back out exploring (safely of course!). Our first stop back on the road was Santa Fe, New Mexico, where we spent a day eating some local foods, like breakfast burritos, carne adovada, chocolate covered peppers, and Frito pie, and wandering around the charming and beautiful downtown area.

A few things we wanted to note about this vlog:
Masks were worn outside whenever we were near people, when we picked up takeout, and if we went inside anywhere.
Social distancing, hand washing, and sanitizing precautions were also all taken in the making of this video.
Safety is our #1 priority and we want to stress that this adventure, and all future adventures, will be done responsibly and with the health of others in mind.

Ayyy. Santa Fe, NM gal right here! I love my home. Downtown and the plaza have always been my favorite place in town. I can't deny the amazing energy here. Especially during fiestas, Christmas and the burning of ZoZobra. The food is always a bonus. I grew up in a traditional Hispanic household and I love the culture and heritage the city brings. Been to Sante Fe a couple of times and the last time was in October with a girlfriend. Some things were closed like the church so my girlfriend didn't get to see inside. : ( But we had some awesome food and there were some shops that were still open. Your frito pie is what we called a walking taco when we did cub scouts with our kids! They were always good and they would walk around with the snack size bag of fritos and the hamburger mixture. Great memories.
