Very complete video. The only acronym you left out was OAB (only at Blufans). The best way to acquire Blufans premium editions as well as premiums put out by other manufacturers is through group buy. Simply peruse the forums at Blu-ray.com. These group buys take place at an announced time. Make sure you join the site. If you’re on time and quick with your keyboard you can score the item for cost. If you’re lucky enough to secure a reservation the GB moderator will mail it to you upon release day charging you only a modest fee for shipping. No need to get scalped on eBay. Unlike shopping at Best Buy, no one in a GB can purchase more than one item apiece. My copy of the item you just displayed cost well under $199.

Congrats on the 1000th video achievement Nathan. Can you here me drooling over this set from there?

By the way, make sure you watch those credits. You're thanked at the end for your help sorting out the info about these so I could actually get them.

The beauty of steel books cannot be denied. I sometimes wish I could just buy the cases and leave the contents behind. $300 for a set of 'Star Wars' ones is almost not absurd in my head.
Also, my Thrawn and Jaina stand next to each other on my own shelf, as well.

Nice. I actually call out Jaina in another episode that is recorded but not edited yet, regarding Plastic Galaxy: The Story of Star Wars Toys.

Those art cards at 28:00 we got some of them here in the U.S. in mini poster form When you saw the Force Awakens at AMC theaters in IMAX for the first four weeks of its release.

digipauk Yup. You could also get a set of them through Disney movie rewards. I actually have two sets, since they are double-sided, and have them up on the wall way above the shelves that are behind me in the video. These also mirror the ones in the Japanese MovieNEX box.

If you’re interested, there’s a Korean company similar to Blufans called, KimchiDVD, that makes steelbook editions of movies and they include exclusive slipcovers, but I would advise caution because I think the blu-rays are only available in Region C. They have a website and I’ve seen ebay listings as well.

I've seen a few of those. There's also a company called NovaMedia that I've seen some things from. I don't really know much about either really.

Nathan, I saw somewhere that there are going to be Star Wars 4k releases. Just to let you know, the titles are A NEW HOPE, THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, and RETURN OF THE JEDI!!! I hope this is real because 4k Star Wars is great; but 4k ORIGINAL TRILOGY is just nuts.

There have been repeated rumors like that reported as if they are fact, along with similar rumors about unaltered versions. I have yet to see a reputible source actually report that it's definite, nor any official announcements from Lucasfilm. What source are you seeing claiming this is the case?

Nathan Butler Wikipedia...not a reliable source.
