    Bottom right corner was hard to pull in so I cut a 2x4 to ~81 inches and wedged it between tailgate and block that was taped in place. So board was at an angle, then placed just enough weight on board to draw it in place. This worked great.

    Won't the glass in the repaired side stuck out further than the non repaired side since it is glued over the existing remaining glass?

      Good question yes about .062" the average person won't even notice I've had customers do this repair and turn their trucks in from a lease and the dealer doesn't even notice when done correctly watch the video follow the instructions. Bradsautoglass.com

    Thank you so much for the video!
    I was wondering if you sell the same exact piece for a 2018 Titan? I looked on your website, but I did not see it. Please pardon me if I overlooked it. If you have it, I definitely look forward to purchasing it!

    My sliding window opens to the RIGHT side(Passenger side)Brad, did you remove it in order to clamp the patch? Maybe I missed it but I didn’t see yours, unless it opened to the left(drivers side). Hard to tell. I’m about to do the install

    • @autoglassamerica
      @autoglassamerica  Před 3 lety +2

      Yes you can but it's not worth the time and effort plus it does a better job as shown in the video please stick to the plan.

      @@autoglassamerica hey I bought the glass what trim and caulking should I get, one that can stick to the frame not the glass, and is super strong and durable, I have a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 hemi

      @@delvinmartinda7852 you can only use the primer and urethane that I sell in my store purchasing a product from another vendor will probably fail which is why I sell my product. However you can buy urethane locally that will stick to glass made by 3 M I recommend it that's what you do do not remove all the broken glass from the frame the result will not be as good
