About the rabbit and the moon design, it might be based on that in Japan they see a rabbit on the moon. Similar to how we, in the US, see a man on the moon. Fun fact: the moon actually spins as it travels around the Earth, so the US sees a different side of the moon then Japan, hence why we see different things on the moon. So, in reality, there isn’t an actual dark side of the moon, that’s dark for everyone on Earth.

I have always wanted to experience this series, but didn't know where to start. Would these new eternal Manga editions be a good place? And what Anime do you recommend I watch first? I've heard the Crystal is a true adaptation of the Manga.
@@SailorSnubs that would be great.. i owned the original japanese manga from the 90's when they came out.. the one time my comicbookshop came through, when they usually couldn't get international items (international meaning japan because US stuff was all over the place) couldn't read it, but love the visuals, sold my mixx pockets and the original years ago when my moonism was on a slow burt, but i'm kicking myself now every day, i stop when i get those og pockets back :p

I'm debating on if I should get this copy as well...i have 1-35 comics,Tokyopop sailor moon manga, and I have 2014 mangas.

Yes I store them all in a big box. I'll dig 'em out whenever hubs and I move but that won't be for a long time.
