I have been planning to get this or an Awron ever since I got an F22 because the lack of a coolant temp gauge is annoying. I like the Awron a little more but the price was up there. P3 is a great upgrade though!

Looks fantastic bro. Been looking at getting one for my Audi A5 and 340i for a long time! The pre installed one is definitely a little pricey tho. So I would definitely be going your DIY route. Let us know how much that small fin is. Definitely my #1 DIY concern with the P3.

If I can make a suggestion for the control box: You have that small storage space below the light switch that gives a nice flat surface on the inside of the dashboard. I used velcro on the controller and on the top flat part of that box. That way you just stick it down with velcro and pull it out when needed. Did this on my M235i and it does not move anywhere.

Yes you have 2 options. I just installed the orange one on mine and it blends in nicely with the rest of the dash lights 👍🏻

Great informative video. I've always wanted something like this but unfortunately it takes up the only OBD2 port in the car. In the track where I have to log data using the OBD2, I would have to unplug this and plug in the datalogger.
You can Buy obd splitter
@@watchonthetoiletchannel4741 OBDII bus doesn't allow multiple device access so if you use splitter, only one device will work at a time. It's a messy solution.

I wish I could have this without losing my OBD2 port, since I leave my MHD plugged into it

Boost gauge limited at 22psi , due to boostmod trick the stock dme for higher boost
