Not even an honorable mention to Jean Grey in X2. She saved everyone by stopping a flood, while raising a whole plane with everyone inside, “sacrificed” herself and still managed to survive. Way better than Antman getting big and other ones

How bout when Cap was on the run and took down that quinjet and landed with the shield facing out.
As much as I hated Cap’ in Civil War, this was the redemption point for me!
Not only did it look and feel awesome but it just further reinforces steves kind-but-serious personality - he doesnt use weapons - he uses tools as weapons

The problem I have with superfast guys like The Flash and Quicksilver is that their brains have to work just as fast in order to generate and coordinate the body movements. Doesn't seem very likely.

That was definitely one of the most epic moments in the MCU, but I don’t know that I’d consider it god mode. Personally I think Tony’s god best god mode moment was “if you throw another moon at me, I’m gonna lose it”
The look on Tony’s face when he realises it’s all coming down to him sacrificing himself. Then he does it anyway, that scene is incredible.

I wonder if Doctor Strange knew that Tony Stark wouldn’t sacrifice himself if he told Tony what would happen, calling back to the scene from the first Avengers movie when Steve told Tony that he wasn’t the kind of person to sacrifice himself and Tony said he’d just cut the wire.
I thought that was the easiest way to defeat Thanos.. Dr Strange just tells Thanos that he would get all infinity stones and snap the fingers to eliminate half of the universe.. Then it wouldn't happen.. 😜😜

@@davidanderson_surrey_bc It was Ebert. He actually read science-fiction beyond just watching movies. The film owes a debt to Daniel Galouye's "Lords of the Psychon". One of the best actual SF films of the recent past.

Bro, I was mesmerized by the hallway scene on Rogue One, I loved that how Disney showed the evil rampage of a Sith Lord, we need to see more of those iconic scenes in newer Star Wars movies.
The Flash undoing the destruction of Earth and Superman annihilating Steppenwolf in Zack Snyder's Justice League, Captain Marvel unleashing her full power in Captain Marvel or her entrance in the final battle in Endgame should of been on the list in my opinion.

me too! but only because it pisses me off, Captain America couldn't even handle Thanos' minions and had to be saved by Thor, and in this movie he is shown shitting on Thanos when Thor (fat or not) didn't stand the slightest of chances against him? fucking stupid
Instead of the 2nd Thor-ranking, i'd picked Luke Skywalker in Mandalorian S2 finale. "Going Godmode" applies perfectly. All the other characters had a terribly hard time taking down even ONE Dark Trooper, where Luke just turns then in half, in pieces, and literally cuts through them like a hot knife through butter... Effortlessly nearly, as he didnt even break a sweat, shown in the scene after, when he removes his cowl.
On par with Vader's épic slaughter at the end of Rogue One ofcourse.
