- To call yourself a God is a bit of a stretch, no matter how powerful you think you might be. However, I will maintain that a lot of Superheroes are capable of going into God Mode, which is obviously not the same, but is still pretty commendable. So here I am today demonstrating instances in movies where superheroes went god mode.
This list is just my opinion so feel free to let me know about your thoughts in the comment section below.

I thought Thor's ascension in Ragnarok was absolutely spectacular. The immigrant song playing in the background as he finally realized his true power was god mode incarnate.
"Are you Thor, god of hammers? Or are you the god of thunder?"
He answered that question resoundingly in the climax on the rainbow bridge.

Yes, that was the one I expected to be number one because of the dialogue as well as the action, and an excellent choice in music.
@@viceman8152 On another note, I always wanted to see Hulk really hulk out and go to his max. Well, what we think his max is because he doesn't have one. He is one of the characters the MCU has pacified, in my opinion compared to what he has done in the comics. The movie would end quickly though, if they really let Hulk lose though, so I guess scaling him back is a good thing.
@@BamBam_58 You see they made a "Planet Hulk" animated movie about 12 years ago or so but they never made "World War Hulk" the next comic. The most powerful I can remember seeing him and by far my favorite Hulk Comic because he comes back to Earth and stomps the most powerful beings on Earth.
@@viceman8152 yeah I saw. It is probably hard to give him his real justice in a live action movie though. Maybe we'll see the real Hulk come out now that Skaar is around and Red Hulk is on the way.

My Superman fan self wants to take even more back in the day with Superman's God mode by turning back time to save Lois. The pain, the rage and the determination you see in Christopher Reeve's face when he defies space and time to bring back the woman he loves. Definitely God Tier there. đđ
He also did time travel around earth again in Superman 2 Richard Donner cut. Where he put Zod and company back in phantom zone, rebuilt his Fortress of Solitude, made Lois forget he's Superman.

great list, I was a bit disappointed the beating Ironman gave Thanos in Infinity war would have been great to see on the list... but I couldn't say which one I would have replaced it with so I get it... I think the reason that one stands out to me, is that Tony is just a man, not a god, not a wizard with mystical powers, not a half god man, not an alien with incredible strength... just a man who has extreme wealth and intellect, and he went up against Thanos with 4 of the infinity stones and was doing so well Thanos had to throw a moon at him to change the tide of the battle...

@@EvoZen The only issue was the aspect ratio. They used, 4:3 for iMax,, as it was intended, until DC butchered it and sent us the version we knew before Snyder Cut.

My experience watching these last few MCU films with the community in theaters makes it so I couldn't disagree more. It's really a fun way to get out of the house and be a part of somethimg everytime they have an opening.

To anyone who pays attention marvel Disney etc have suffered massive sales loss compared to just a few years ago yes marvel is still doing fine but compared to its sales before infinity war the last film before they went nuts with "the message" a little of it no one cared a lot constantly shoved in our face yes there was a noticeable sales loss but only enough to go from great sales to good sales for marvel which is mainly due to loyal super hero fans who will even watch the garbage films because it's marvel which I can respect those true fans

They did something very wrong about this Flash that Superman messed up. The lightning color Flash emits while using the Speed Force. A speedster emitting blue light could be way too fast for Superman to even see, obviously way harder to fight against. Such a young and not so powerful speedster would probably emit dark red lightning. That's from the comics, I'm not taking random info out of my head

Different gauntlets. The one from Infinity war was made by the dwarves, for Thanos. The one in Endgame was made by Ironman.

Thor's gone God mode probably the most of all the Avengers and pretty much dominated each time.. so why couldn't he do that against Thanos? That's always baffled me.

I think Captain Marvel was conspicuously absent from this list. There are multiple moments that could've qualified. Yeah, Thor blows people up with lightning, which is impressive for sure, but Captain Marvel stops a planetary bombardment, starts single-handedly destroying an invading alien fleet, then just intimidates them all the way out of earth space. She also holds her own against Thanos while he's wearing the fully gemmed-up infinity gauntlet, and without requiring the element of surprise to do so.

Black Adam has the power of six gods, so he is already a god. Superman is always in god mode. Thor IS a god so he's always in god mode. I'm surprised you didn't count Wonder Woman's final battle with Ares - but of course she is ALSO a god(dess) - and even Ares agrees that only a god can kill another god.

In the movies Hulk is limited, and vastly overshadowed by several others. He is only a tiny smidgeon of comic book Hulk. And never has a "god mode" moment in the movies.

Not really. Just a guy given a limited set of powers by a wizard. There are many beings in DC universe who aren't gods that can wipe the floor with him. Actual gods cannot be harmed by him and can erase his existence with a mere thought. "Gods" are beings that rewrite all reality at their whim.

Many of the "gods" we see in the movie who call themselves such are often realised in the comics to not be actual gods. They're powerful, semi-immortal, but not actual gods. In Marvel the true god is "The One Above All" and his alter ego "The One Below All". Below that God is the godly "Living Tribunal". Below them are the cosmic aspects like Eternity. THOSE are Gods. Everything else below them are not real gods - even if they call themselves such.
