- Most Yamaha’s are the same. I am using a 2010 Yamaha Royal Star Venture S. Be careful when raising your motorcycle. Do not use force on bolts as the bike could tip over. Thanks for watching. And hit the like button.

Thank you.
Thanks. Regards.
Great video! Question for you. Can I take the moon wheel covers off of the wheel? I want to ditch them so I can see the rest of the exposed rotor. Are the moon caps just for looks?
Thanks a bunch
I like the look of the caps. I don’t believe there is any reason why you couldn’t remove them. I don’t believe they have weights on them for any reason. Good luck.
What kind of floor jack are you using...especially the brackets that cradle the bike upright, I have a tour deluxe and we had a heck of a time figuring out how to jack with out damaging anything...we did it! But I didn't like it and am looking for a future alternative...Thanks
Suzie Flippin I bought my scissor jack from amazon. It comes with adjustable frame cradles with it.

Thank you. I totally did that wrong.
DarthBop what did you do wrong?
@@ericdrake1444 I took all of that crap off the bike, fender and all. I have another royal star and the calipers are set up differently. You have to take the calipers off all together. So, this morning I came out, reassembled my front end, removed just the calipers and was completely done in about 10 minutes. I should have known to look at the book or check CZcams first but, like I said, I have another Royal Star and thought they were the same. Thanks!
I didn't put the cardboard between the pads and now I can't get the caliper to open up. I tried a C-clamp but it doesn't work, I need one end to be offset. What's the trick to compress the caliper?
I am sorry, this question skipped past me. I found out that if you crack the bleeder, the pressure is taken off the piston. If it still doesnt move, you may have a stuck piston which requires it to be rebuilt. I know you probably already have this fixed.
@@ericdrake1444 It's in the shop now getting both calipers rebuilt.
Does the tire have tubes in it
Mine does not have tubes.
Well that's easy....its my rear I'm not looking forward to
The rear is more steps. But it’s not hard at all.
