Your quote unquote Holy Sh*t triangle move is basically a Kwan Sau raised and moved to a different angle.
Bong sau is good for defending against grabs and pulls...all you need do is follow through with the elbow to the mid section or just a jab.

If you're not using some precision in the form then you have to compensate with strength, which that isn't the plan.. Strong+ good form is always stronger than strong+poor form.
(.07) Not a bong. 45* means 45*, not almost 90*. If you need a different distance then either wait longer for it to get to you, step or shift, never reach or contract. Wrist is supposed to be at the centerline and about 4"-6" lower so the elbow can pivot to the 45* tan without moving the hand. And he's supposed to be shifting in order to move his opposition off the centerline. Just a few inches will do it.
(1:47) can convert to a pull or a 45* tan w/shift instead of a strength on strength, and (2:00) has 2 hands committed to one with both sides exposed, when he only ever needed on hand to begin with. That cross block isn't in any of the forms, either.
Do less. If it's not already in the forms at that position then "adding" it will virtually always lead to a more extended/contracted, less supported and less economical motion than simply sticking with the basics, albeit executed more cleanly.
Important to focus on the finger or kenpo oriented paradigm (KOP) here. And just follow thru...

Wing Chun for self defense why? Do yourself a favor and train a martial art that's useful for self defense. There's a reason this art isn't used for fighting sports.

Wing chun is an ancient art created by chinese wise monks and it has practical aplication if you use it right ,they dont use it because its designed to kill its dangerous .
