i made this pumpkin and it’s rly cool. i got it from pinterest and it’s a cat. you carve triangle eyes and a upside down triangle as nose. then any shape mouth and then you take toothpicks and stick the left over eyes onto the top of the head to make ears! it’s so cutee
I think it's interesting but I feel like the bottom provides stability when carving and taking the seeds and guts out. If you cut the bottom off, you'll have a pumpkin that'll keep slipping and sliding sideways because it no longer has stability

I did this this year and it was awesome! Plus then I sprinkled cinnamon inside the top and used vanilla scented votives. So my porch smelled like baked sweet bread. I actually got a lot of compliments on it from mom's with their kiddos trick or treating. Ten out of ten would recommend!!!
Oh!! Another pumpkin carving tip!! I dont know how easy it is upside down but cut a notch out the side so it looks like a circle with a little beak. This helps make sure it always aligns when you put the pieces together!
