This is why we must call for Direct Digital Democracy without Parties nor Politicians.
Citizen Initiated Referendums with thresholds and a social contract means Communities can vote their own laws. As well as a Public Authority to audit police and prosecute bad actors in our own courts.
It means we can Nationalise resources and give Indigenous peoples the right of Sovereignty over them as Guardians.
This can be achieved through a General Strike or Velvet Revolution, much like the Occupy movement, peacefully occupying State Buildings until a People's Mandate can be implemented.
With the appropriate checks and balances, you could have a national digital forum where qualified professionals can debate the issues in a public setting without all the disinformation and bad faith antics, hatespeech etc.
Any vote would need to pass the 70% threshold, with a veto or _rewrite_ vote needing 30%.
The issues would be debated, the public educated, and then a vote taken. Votes that fail will have to wait a year before trying again. Any new proposal (Citizen Initiated Referendum) would have to reach a threshold of support before it made it onto the register. This would all be subject to a Social Contract (New Constitution) that forbids human rights abuses and discrimination, that can be written in the same manner based on the core principles we all share. Councils and Boards could operate in a similar fashion at Scale.
It works in a way that obligates people to better educate themselves ( that is to use logic and evidence in their reasoning ) for a better understanding of the issues, and then take collective responsibility for the outcomes. As opposed to the divisive US v them scapegoating and bi-partisan finger pointing the current Capitalist Pyramid Scheme runs on.
Thorium energy renders the global oil monopoly obsolete
An average person's lifetime's worth of energy with Thorium energy would cost just $100
It is safer, cleaner, and cheaper, allowing for desalination and carbon sequestration. It also can process toxic and nuclear wastes and in return produces the most effective cancer treatment known to man.
In the case of a complete failure the liquid salt cools into a container and then solidifies, it will be low level radioactive for 300 years, as opposed to extremely radioactive for 25k years. Thorium produce grams to the tonne in comparison to Conventional Reactors. It's compact elements don't require a pressure containment like with conventional reactors and so can be transported to remote communities who would be able to process their own waste for energy.
There is enough Thorium already mined for us to power the economy for another 1000yrs.
It can also be used to power Hydrogen converters for carbon free combustion engines.
It's the only technology that could scale to provide effective carbon sequestration. The cost is also a tiny fraction of current models.
      It also can't be weaponised.
Thorium energy is our only hope to survive Climate Change
It's crazy it isn't discussed more.

The media effort in the West seemed to be failing, but ultimately it turned around and worked. People are still seen as good if they endorse genocide and as bad if they oppose it. Whether that's due to people's attention span running out, or due to US tech giants' taking action to guide false narratives on social media, I have my guess which one it is.
In the Arab world the Western media don't have that kind of power, so with both the actual truth - and less truthful Hamas propaganda - reaching Arab people, the Western media's distortions have the opposite effect and make Israel and the West look even more guilty, at a time when US economic interests in the region are quickly waning.

Remember, in the 1850 official Census of Palestine, there were only 4% Jews in Palestine.
Then European Jewish migration to Palestine started in 1882 which enhanced the Jewish population to 80% within Palestine (excluding occupied territories) but this was aided by expulsion of 750,000 Palestinians from Israel along with their killings as well as razing of 512 villages by 1948.

……David Hearst has said it very accurately “barbaric”. For a resistance retaliatory military operation on October 7th - the vast majority of Israeli civilian casualties were by ‘friendly fire’ and the ‘Hannibal Directive’ - this settler colonialist state embarked on a genocidal onslaught against the inmates of its concentration camp, whom it’s been torturing and abusing for decades. Coupled with genocide on 78 % of Palestine in 1948, the violent and brutal colonisation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem since 1967, by virtue of it being an continuous ethnic cleansing settler colonialist state, it is no way fit to be considered a ‘civilised decent nation’

A sobering and genuine analysis. Why do we even have an Israel? To relieve the European conscience for its treatment of Jews? To move its problem with Jews out of sight and out of mind? To do so to a place where the inhabitants were unworthy of having an opinion? And ever since Israel has proven unworthy of this consolation prize. I congratulate Daniel Levy for his summation that any Jew from any country can find a home In Israel, but those who had lived there for generations, and were forced out by genocide, are not allowed to return. If Israel was to disappear it would correct the mistake made decades ago, a decision made for the wrong reasons, and to the detriment of the wrong people.

It states the conditions by the British Crown under which the refugee jews were allowed to live in Palestine. One of the conditions is “‘that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religeous rights of existing non-jewish communities in Palestine”. Mind you, already in 1917.

I agree. In 1899 - 1902 Britain did a similar thing in South Africa. The Afrikaner population was subjected to a scorched earth policy. 1000's of farms were destroyed and burnt down, and crops were burnt, livestock was killed. Over 107 000 women, children and the elderly were forced into despicable concentration camps. Little food and no sanitation caused a break out of disease. 27000 women and children died and about 22000 were children. What Israel is doing is right out of the British scorched earth policy playbook. And that happened 124 years ago. They had the war for South Africa's gold and diamonds, the British couldn't win and so they destroyed everything else.

The Palestinian people's peaceful & courageous stance & unwavering faith, in the face of horrendous attrocities, is one of the most powerful events we will witness in our lifetimes, as it is not just for themselves, for their land, that they are giving their lives, it is equally for all of us to unmistakably see during this critical period of transformation in our human history.

Peaceful? You do know what Palestinian children are taught from an early age. You do know they have been expelled from Jordan and Kuwait. You do know they have a destabilizing effect wherever they go. Lebanon is nothing like it was. War favors the victor. Arabs in that area were conquered. if a war is lost, land is taken. It has been that way forever. Radical islam is to blame. Change the ideology. Quit indoctrinating generation after generation. Peace is the answer. Rise up Palestine. Rid yourselves of hamas. Release the hostages.

I assume the early decision to give them Israel was seen as an answer to a long standing question that preoccupied the European minds, "what to do with the Jewish problem". Europeans regarded the Jews as problematic and i assume that they thought if we give them their own homeland, we won't have to deal with them anymore. Israel is far away from Europe and Europe will have absolved itself for it's previous treatment of the jews.

Terrorism is a racist term used to systematically dehumanise Muslims for a Jesuit agenda
      They're Russians and Roman Catholics
Hence the media and politicians The CEO of the BBC Marcus Agius married a Rosschild Baroness
The title is from the Holy Roman Empire and means the same thing as Fuehrer
Alan Dershowitz said he was introduced to Epstein by Baroness Lynn De Forrester Rosschild
He also hooked up Elon's brother, and Elon attended the same Jesuit University as Trump, and Trump and David Woods being Wharton and Fordham.
Trump, Barr, Bannon, Cippolone, Gore, Guiliani, Leo, Alito, Thomas, and Barrett are all Opus Dei. Trump trained alongside Epstein and Roger Stone under Roy Cohn, who used kids to blackmail politicians on behalf of Mossad. Cohn trained under Meyer Lansky, who trained under Hoover. Robert Mercer and Rupert Murdoch are both Knights of Malta.

Then there's the Roman Abromavich connection to Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage, the key players behind Brexit, and the Sex Ring Superyacht he sold to Trump via Adnan Kashoggi, who is Mossad, just like Kushner, and Epstein, who listed SA as his home and had a Wahabbi funeral just like Osama Bin Laden, whose family did Brunch at the Bush Mansion in 2001, and now build the pipelines through the Isis occupied Golan heights, which Trump ceded to israel on it's 70th anniversary.

There is a huge difference in the legal position between freedom fighters and terrorists. The definition is: “Terrorism (from the Latin word terror, panic) is the commission of serious violence, or serious threat thereof, WITHOUT LAWFUL GROUNDS, for a political or religious purpose. In most understandings of what terrorism is, it must involve illegal violence, usually linked to civilians and victims. This means that Hamas is not a terrorist organization but a resistance movement that even has the right to use violence. Israël, together with the US are the terrorists because the occupation is not a legal ground.

All of those groups have been considered freedom fighters by their supporters.

For Israel to take land, it requires violence. To build a settlement, it requires violence. To put up a checkpoint, it requires violence. To maintain a checkpoint, it requires violence. When you look at the numbers of Palestinians that Israel has imprisoned - you're looking at roughly 20% of the Palestinian population - so each and everyday living in the West Bank is to live with Israeli violence."

Yes, this all seems too familiar and unsettling. Colonial mindset is real... And to make all familiar, the use of God as justification.

It's a complete hypocrisy. Ukraine has been armed to the teeth by billions of military aid but Palestinians who are without a military are expected to bow down to Israeli occupation which is also funded by the billions. It's just unbelievable.
