  • Around 60 trucks carrying relief supplies have arrived in the north of the Gaza Strip, where Israel's military has focused its actions against the Islamist militant group Hamas. It's the largest delivery there since the war began.
    And Israel has released the second of four groups of Palestinian prisoners under its agreement with Hamas. The detainees were handed to the International Committee of the Red Cross at the Ofer Jail amid heavy Israeli police presence.
    DW spoke with Palestinian journalist Hazem Balousha about what the release of Palestinian prisoners means for Hamas' standing among Palestinians, and how popular Hamas is in the Palestinian Territories.

    1:50 cars dont just explode..

    • @martinmatino6253
      @martinmatino6253 Před 6 měsíci +4

      Car explosions can be caused by a variety of accidents or malfunctions. Here are some common scenarios:
      Fuel Leaks: If there's a leak in the fuel system and the fuel comes into contact with a spark or high heat, it can ignite, leading to an explosion.
      Faulty Battery: A car battery can explode due to overcharging, internal short-circuiting, or damage. Battery explosions are dangerous because they can release toxic gases and cause a fire.
      Engine Overheating: An overheated engine can cause the oil and other fluids to ignite, especially if there's a leak or if the engine is severely damaged.
      Crash Impact: In a severe crash, the fuel lines or tank might rupture, and the sparks generated from the impact can ignite the fuel.
      Electrical Failures: Faulty wiring or electrical failures can create sparks that might ignite leaking fluids or gases.
      Improper Maintenance: Poorly maintained vehicles are at a higher risk, especially if there are undetected leaks or damaged parts.
      Arson or Deliberate Acts: Unfortunately, some car explosions are the result of deliberate acts of vandalism or arson.
      Compressed Gas Cylinders: Cars that run on compressed natural gas (CNG) or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) can explode if their cylinders are damaged or improperly installed.

      Palestinians deserve to first be treated as humans. And they definitively have the right to self defense and self determination in an armed struggle.
      Gaza is the largest concentration camp in human history and Hamas fighters have shown higher standards of professionalism than the IDF, which operates under the Hannibal Directive and is responsible for the most atrocious massacre of Israeli citizens on October 7th. IDF tank shells were responsible for structural damage of Israeli homes and IDF attack helicopter missiles were responsible for burning alive Israeli citizens escaping in cars.

    How about let’s do a poll of how many Israelis support their government or the settlements. So much framing about “if only the Palestinians could choose better” instead of talking about the systems in place that rob them of that opportunity. Palestinians will never have a future if their relationship with Israel does not change. This conflict has been going on long before Oct 7 despite what the news will say. Over 200 Palestinians were killed in the West Bank leading up to Oct 7 that year by settlers, but the world did not care. The selective criticisms and outrage is all you need to know about their actual viewpoints.
