Not buying a nano...make it bigger and stronger with wifi
I also want a “Flipper Thicc”
Eventually flipper One or something like that will come I’d say like 2 or 3 more years
It’s pointless to get one 😂
Go look up their old site for flipper one.
@@axxelgannon9146 people said that 1-2 years ago
Flipper one is closer than it was 🎉🎉🎉
Keep doing things the way you love doing it. You’re unique.
Great vid!
Always love it when sas posts!
Thanks buddy!
You are right hes the best
About time :) wifi built in would be AWSOME though
It would be, agreed. However it would be really easy to add WiFi with all those GPIO pins!
I'm so excited for the flipper nano!! I have a flipper zero myself and im planning on getting a nano once it comes out. Great video!
Thanks! I think it'll be a really cool little gadget!
Thanks Sasquach. You have been an immense source of awesome knowledge and all for free for us...THANK YOU!.
I finally got a flipper and I am a bit confused on firmware and uses and the menu in the flipper. I gotta find a document outlining and explaining everything. Also gotta motivate myself to get on the flipper forum.
That’s so dope. It would be crazy to be able to run different OS on it with the compatibility of the Pi.
Hacked podcast brought me here btw. I think I may have already been subbed. Been looking at getting a flipper, if the nanos cheaper I may go that route. Always had an interest in electronics and just recently broke down and got my first Raspberry Pi, started with a Pi 5. Now I have like 4 picos, 2 p0wh, and a p02w. It's only been 2 months 😅
I'd be more excited if all boards or at least most were cross compatible. 😞 Hopefully it will atill spark another wave if creativity.
It really just comes down to if the board uses both rows of GPIO
I'd really hoped that the original Flipper One would be their next project out the door. Great overview of the Nano but I think I'll keep waiting.
I wonder if you can control it from a phone like the flipper zero
so is it better than the flipper zero? or is it just a different device interely for different uses?
i hope they bring the two rows of GPIO to future F0 versions
Can you reply with the link to the video using a flipper zero with obd2
Great Video Bro! keep it up!
I bet the first community-demanded extension board will be the NFC/RFID/IR/SubGHZ/iBtn module 😁
Just seeing it makes me want to have one.
Me too!!
Where can you buy the yet-eboard mkiii ?
Is no need for a nano version, if is not broken no need to fix , I am just happy as it is now , the only think I will suggest is a bigger screen
Great video , i just dont understand the market for this new device unless it has a very good price point , a raspberry pico or esp32 is more than capable and very cheap for a lot of projects , just add a display and buttons , sensors as needed. A flipper zero with integrated wifi and bluetoorh , would be more useful i think.
great vid !
Thank you!!
Tldw it's an interface tool with two rows of gpio meant to be used wherever the current flipper isn't.
Same general firmware with no add-ons, so no subghz, ibutton, nfc etc.
Great for *actual* hardware hackers, but not great for people like me, who are mostly wireless and prefer pre built modules.
This will be great for anyone who needs to manage specifically hardware repair, where the current f0 kinda suffers by being more tedious to use for just about every tool it hopes to replace.
How do you not have an affiliate link for that awesome shirt?!?!?
lol I get most of my shirts at like TJ Maxx or Marshalls
So basically an esp32 with I/o expander
Will the zero still be for sale after the nano launches?
I need help on Wi-Fi, Div board . I I am using a MacBook. I cannot find anything that helps me flash div borad for Mac so I can start using it
Made me nervous for a second. I just ordered a Flipper Zero that was in transit when this video came out.
When is it gonna be released? I was about to buy the flipper zero but maybe it worth to wait
Flipper Zero and Flipper Nano will be completely different beasts. Don't wait if you want the hacking device, but if GPIO is all you're interested in, then maybe it could be worth the wait!
Have you seen the Cyper pro gameboy? Idk why its cyper and not cyber but oh well. It has an reg screen and wifi built in.
I have! If it ever makes it past Kickstarter, I'll def be getting on!
Bro, I just realized u r on the last "hacked"-podcast episode, kudos! 🎉 Ur stuff with David Bombal already felt like a special crossover episode of two of my favorite TV shows xD can u get in touch with Jack Rhysider and Adam Levin somehow?
I want a Flipper equivalent of the HackRFOne...
In other words... you want a HackRFone?
@@colind6797 Soon.
its like you're doing an infomercial.
heard you on the hacked podcast, great channel
Are they gonna keep the current flipper on the market when this comes out because i don't see a point in a hobbled system?
Oh yeah, definitely. IMO the Flipper Zero and the Flipper Nano are totally different tools for totally different things.
@@TalkingSasquachOh ok
I'll wait for Flipper Absolute Zero
my first flipper arrives tomorrow. Delving into this new rabbit hole. Been watching some of the channels (yours mostly) about how to do and what to do. Ir's all confusing but then I see some 16yo hacker cracking webcams on the other side of the planet and think, If he can do it then I can figure something out without flipping out.....
You absolutely can!
Me in New Zealand still waiting to get a Flipper Zero that isn't 3 times the price.
That sucks! Lab401 doesn't supply NZ?
@@TalkingSasquach They do, but it works out to be just over $500 NZD or around $310 USD and then another 15% import taxes. Just can't justify it.
Literally looks like a meme 😂
I want them to make permanent different colors of the Flipper Zero not just limited time or limited edition. Blue is my favorite color so I wish they made a FZ in blue.
off topic. But sir a lot of folks run the deauther software. Ever thought about covering the Deauther watch, Wifi Nugget, M5 stack Hashcat monster, or here's a great one buy some esp32 or esp8266's flash to them with the flipper and show how to flash if you don't have a flipper? Just some silly suggestions for content that you could deliver in your own unique way!
I have a HashMonster and I really want a WiFi nugget, would be a cool video to show off a few of them! Thanks for the suggestion!
I took a hackerboxes esp8266 wifi gator badge and got nugget code to run on it I was super happy. Hacker boxes even featured a creator who ran deauther code on the badge but couldn't get the display to work, Some how this 40 dude with like 0 knowledge read the manual and looked at the configuration and said mother of god I got this. Proudest nerd moment Right next to putting showerthoughts RSS on the pwnagotchi!
@@TalkingSasquach
m5stack shaking in their boots
I was thinking something similar
😂
If this isn't priced properly its going to bomb hard. In fact I don't even know who this is aimed at. If you like the out-of-the-box "hacking" aspect you'll buy a Zero or a HackRF, but if you're looking for a development platform I can't see this being any more cheaper or effective that what is already out there. If you're at the stage where you're writing your own software you're not going to be afraid of getting your hands dirty with the electronics aspect either. Also, you can't say "affordable" when nobody knows what this thing is going for at retail.
I wonder if anyone can explain the market for the flipper nano? Why would you want or need that? what would someone use that for?
I have a Flipper Zero but the radio and hacking aspects are overkill for me. I'm not a hardcore electronics tinkerer and frankly have absolutely zero interest in soldering so anything that doesn't ship with an enclosure, buttons, and a screen is dead-on-arrival for me. On top of that, it also needs to have firmware and a community and a brand backing it. There are some very cheap devices that sort of fit the bill but I'm willing to pay a premium for a very polished device with great interface/design/documentation/etc. I just want a device that works out of the box but that is open source so I can freely develop for it. I have all kinds of simple app ideas and want to build my own tools. Flipper Zero works great for this but I'd love a cheaper version without the radios. I actually sort of dislike how it's a "hacking" tool because that has so much baggage and negative connotation associated with it when I don't use it for that at all.
@@paulgemperlein626 can you give me examples of things you would use it for?
@@paulgemperlein626 So you've just bought a car and what you really wanted was bike?
So a Flipper Arduino??
Pass on that
I left my flipper in my pants about a 2 weeks ago and it got washed. Warrenty dosent cover that so ill have to save up again :/
Hmmmm interesting.
Any chance for a request?
I really want an animation of the TARDIS (Dr Who's spaceship) flying and spinning in space.
Anyone?
love this. I think of my flipper as a modern day sonic screwdriver haha
Not sure I understand the purpose of it So just a programable flipper square thing
i think nano makes not really sense (for me). can use any esp device with GPIO and onboard BT ans Wifi, but maybe someone has a usecase for it. i think a zero with more cpu power (for some cases) or more external hardware and cases would be nice :)
I am asking for a "Flipper Thicc" for a friend. ❤
I have the nano, it's ok just small.. rather stick wit regular flipper 🐬...
Hey Sasquach I am think to make a my own hacking device with a Raspberry Pi 3 B and i will make a tut when it is done and will you like to try it and i am planning to make Hats for it so you wont have to solder all of the parts in and i am think of how to make the OS and this project is all inspired by your videos and the flipper zero and it is going to be called the Bad Berry
I'm definitely interested!
Sounds awesome where will the info be found at
@@victortorres1585 I am still thinking of what battery I am going have to use I am planning for 2 hour battery or hour
@@TalkingSasquach I am still looking into where the parts are going to be and I am leaning into for it like a hackerRF function for it where you can plug it into a PC and use it and I am going to be putting a screen on it and a little arrow keys like the flipper
So it's like a hacker version of the black berry? You should look at the 'Beepy', it may provide some inspiration.
Sounds like they want something they can sell on Amazon.
А зачем делать флиппер ещё меньше, если логичнее будет расширять функционал, а не уменьшать габариты корпуса?
Flipper pi
Its difficult for me to deal with your rapper style hand play since the first second until the end of video :D it is annoying me but thats my problem not yours :D :D Apart from this I really like your videos and thank you for creating useful content :) Keep the good work
I am sorry, but I think this development kinda goes backwards... The main idea of Zero was combining a lot of separate tech in a small package. And now it is like splitting everything back.
oooooooh hhahaaha "Ban flippers in canada because of car theft" (flippers cant steal cars) Make a flipper nano, take out all the features blamed for car theft and add gpio CANBUS board that can actually steal cars! (yes, yes it CAN and I know it will have many "in the field"/Legit uses too) Love it! Can probably already access hi/lo and emulate P.E.S on the F0 anyways
I don't see how this is going to replace an arduino, you can buy those for 1 or 2 bucks and who cares if you accidentally esd ruin a gpio pin.
Also AI enhancing? There is not alot of AI just algorithms.
WTF HAPPENED WITH THE HACK WI-FI VIDEO!?!!
LOL hope it is not really vaporware
Nah :( it removed the hax
XFW is the best FW, but also the typical „Im using Arch as my MainOS mindset“ / toxic community on discord…
We need a Flipper app that let's your phone do most of what a Flipper does
Not how it works 🤦🏾♂️
you need hardware that your phone does not have for some of it.
Dude the police took my flipper zero and its legal here so why did they take in away
What were u doing with it when they took it? Its legal to have, but u can do illegal things with it, which would in turn make your actions illegal, and give them means to confiscate it.
@@TalkingSasquach i didn't do anything with it my friend got caught stealing and they asked me to empty my pockets i didn't steal anything but they saw the flipper they said i dont care if its legal im taking it away
@@py9699 I call cap
Switching cameras is too much. more effective to use your main camera for talking
Same never buying a nano
the flipper nano is ment to be created at a low cost device so that your stuck buying crazy expensive boards from them ultimately making flipper more money, compared to each person purchasing just a normal flipper zero and creating any board they want for a fraction of the price.. this is becoming a huge scam on flippers end. i hope people wake people and see the change isn't to help to consumer.
what would stop people from making their own boards for the flipper nano?
Honestly, f the flipper team. From the tiktok vids enticing people to buy this overpriced device to do things that it can't to the ban of resale on their reddit forum. Worst cash grab.
that thing sounds like a piece of crap, you could build one from a Arduino for like 40 bucks. sad
Ha, saw you look at the script a few times! Nice info but the hand movement makes this and all your videos unwatchable.
I really comes off as a dad trying to be cool.
Ils n’ont pas encore reçu la logique chez la compagnie flipper
