@@chilixi she was very smart but emotionally immature. She was sheltered her entire life by her family so she didn’t have a chance to see what people are really like. Add to the fact that she had a pure heart. It’s easy to see how she faulted when you take those into consideration.

Her laughter is so contagious and wonderful. So full of joy. I can listen to her laughing all day.

She was such a people pleaser. She just wanted to make everyone happy. Her dad. Her fans. She didn’t get to have many friends because she was always working. But I’m glad she got to experience true love. ❤️

I noticed how she didn’t even flinch at the question “how do you want to be remembered when you’re gone?”... someone so young might say “oh man that’s such a long way off I haven’t thought about it”.... but she answered so matter of factly, almost as if deep down she somehow knew in some way.
I’m glad we had that last answer from her. It says more than anything about who she was and her legacy. She is so missed.
I definitely have a different opinion than Selena does about abortion. It’s such a sensitive subject to talk about yet she handled it so well, was sincere and firm in her conviction, and acknowledged that not everyone has the same opinion as her. Love it!
Same though I disagree with Selena, I feel like she meant no harm in being against abortions. She was raised differently and times were different in the mid 90s, besides she never said she hated it or that women shouldn’t get one, she just says she personally is against it and wouldn’t get one. I love her so much 🥰

I think the answer to stop abortions is to encourage young people to get on birth control and protect themselves. Ppl are gonna sex before marriage regardless but they must protect themselves!!

I am a 48 year old mother of three and I'm just now beginning to appreciate Selena and her 🎶 music. It's SO TRAGIC what happened to her! She is it was such a talented and beautiful soul! Considering this was the 90s and people had a different view on sex and abortion makes me wonder if Selena could have changed her views around this time. I used to be against abortion but my views changed overtime when I started learning more about it and listening to the stories women have told. Still though, she was still a respectful woman and thats something I always loved about her.
It doesn’t matter what “could” have happened. It didn’t. Her views are on record and they were those views until her death. Pro choicers were still a big thing in the 90’s, they just weren’t that loud and vile like they are now.

The color scheme for her wedding anniversary/renewal was going to be purple and white with lots of white roses as they were her favorite flowers. Unfortunately, she passed away and it never happened. This is the first time that I have seen an interview with Selena where they asked her politically sensitive questions. It was fascinating to see! Even today abortions is a sensitive topic. She answered beautifully.
