@@alexquibodeaux1390 lol i’m from new jersey so either it sticks out more to me or i’m just ignorant. it’s very subtle, but here was my thought process leading up to the realization: did not hear accent, noticed similarities between the way she talks and the way suzette talks, started thinking about why they shared the same dialect, started to wonder why she grew up in texas but did not have a texan accent, started to listen for a texan accent, became hyper aware of the fact that she did, in fact, have a texan accent.
She was beyond perfect.. face, beauty, body, personality, humor, her intentions.. etc. It so sad that she was taken too soon. You will forever be miss Selena ❤
Selena lives on after almost 30 years, she is still adored, remembered, and admired for her contributions to Mexican American culture and music. Life always takes the angels from us too soon. 😢
She was such a beautiful human being, and I’m not referring to her physical appearance, but she was so humble and she had a sweet demeanor. She truly was a superstar! She had everything, a great voice, a great heart, super humble and of course her stunning beauty! Even up to this date, it hurts to know that we lost an amazing human being! I hope your singing every day in heaven!
i’ve admired her all my life and now that i’m 23, all i can say is damn… i knew she was young when she died but 23 still sounds far away to a 5 year old. knowing how poised, talented, and mature she is as a 23 year old myself now is crazy. she is light years ahead in terms of work ethic and overall professionalism when compared to other 23 year olds… miss her like crazy, even if i never met her. that texan accent is just too charming.
it's because she has a beautiful pure soul, different from ours, she was there to raise awareness and pour out her unconditional love, she did it spontaneously
Selena was so giving. The way she gave that man steam of baby’s breath as a gift because he brought her something. She was too pure 🤍 I love you and I miss you dearly Reina 👑
I am 23 and everytime I think about her ascendence it just makes sad and realize how short life really is. Though her life was short she did so much and her legacy and music has touched so many. Including me, a black girl who barely knows Spanish, just from what I was taught in school. Now, that’s legacy 25+ years later she’s still reaching the masses.
I’m black but I’ve always loved Selena and her sweet personality since I was a little girl,I’m 22 now ❤️ Like she’s literally the reason I love singing Spanish music! I always dreamed of being a star just like her.
It breaks my heart .....she was a really special person. It’s so sad that her life was taken away because of someone who was so jealous. Her talent , personality and beauty was a gift to the world!
I caught myself smiling throughout🥺🤧... I wish this had been longer, I wish she were still here 😭... What a beautiful, charming, charismatic and humble lady🥰... And my goodness her style was timeless🕊️🌈🌹!
Still can’t believe she was taken from this world so soon.she was truly perfect what the world could’ve asked for a soul gone too soon. R.I.P Selena your legacy lives on and we’ll never forget you fly high.😭😭🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊
She’s a beautiful soul, I wish the world wasn’t so ugly. She deserved more and I’m so thankful for the impact she made on being Hispanic in the United States. She paved the way for us all ♥️
She was such a classy lady! Not wanting to do more bikini shots, it seems like the first and only time was somewhat of an accident. Such elegance and prestige. I like how she wanted to be modest to be a positive role model. She will forever be a superstar.
My gosh she was so beautiful!!!! So sad she never got to become a mother or continue all the other projects she had going. Only the good die young. R.I.P.
bro every time i listen to her music i can literally feel her spirt and i just get tears of happiness whenever i hear dreaming of you, como la flor , and i could fall in love. all of her songs have a very big impact in my life. thank you selena fpr everything and rest in peace 💖
She was a very beautiful woman in every aspect. Funny, Caring, Happy, Intelligent, and Charismatic. I still can’t believe she is gone, but never forgotten. Selena was like a shamrock with four leaves. She was one of a kind. She was very special. I love you Selena! 😢
I’m 24 yrs old and Selena has been my idol since I was 6.. anyone could give me a pop quiz right now and I’d have all the answers! Since I was 6 it was my dream to go to Texas and visit her and everything Texas had of her.. I’m proud to say at 24, I just lived that dream for my birthday.. I went to her grave, her statue, her home and left her a white rose (her favorite) annnnnd went to her museum where I met her dad ❤️ it was a dream come true for me.. I love Selena like she was a sister to me.. & I miss her as if she was family ❤️ we love you Selena !❤️
27 years later She is still missed but her presence can still be felt in everything and everyone that She touched. Forever Love you Selena, be at peace Sweet Angel.
Interesting to hear her say Red was her favorite color, "red and black" she said. It's often been noted by those that knew her that purple was Selena's favorite color. That's the color she decorated her bedroom in, the color she was buried in, and the color most used on her merchandising and Selena signature typeface. 💜
When We Were Kids, My Brothers & I Never Really Understood Her Music Because Its Spanish, But My Grandma Used Too Play Her Music @ Every Family Event .
She was such a beautiful human being! I'm not the slightest bit Hispanic but she is the only celebrity I've ever gotten truly sad over when she passed. I wish she was here today
She is such a nice genuine girl. I wish she was still here. I feel such love for someone I never met personally. She brought so much joy to so many. These videos are priceless.
I was 7 years old when she died and I remember the news coming on confirming her death like it was yesterday she was a beautiful singer with a beautiful mind and spirit and I still listen to her music may she rest in peace we love you Selena !
“When you’re gone, how do you want to be remember?” If only she knew her legacy would be going strong 25+ years later.
26 years sadly!

Still can’t believe she was only 23 at her death. In all these clips she looks and feels like a grown ass woman
She was very mature
Still can’t believe she died 2 days before her and Chris’ anniversary
Back then, people in their 20s just looked a lot more mature. I'm 26 and don't feel neither as womanly as Selena lol
@@laraabiona903 Same, i'm also older than her and don't feel as 'womanly' either lol
💕
for some reason i never really noticed how strong her texan accent was until now. it somehow adds even more to her character.
I’m from Houston I can’t hear an accent 😭😭

Way too pure for this world 😢
She laughed with her whole soul♥️
One of the most beautiful Hispanic women to ever walk this earth
It’s crazy that she spoke English and Spanish fluently
Still weird to think she’s gone, still feels like she’s alive

Dang we all miss our Selena. I can’t believe Yolanda killed her. Just imagine she was still alive. And till this day her music is so strong.

Literally turning 24 in 2 days and I COMPLETELY understand everything you’ve said. I seem like such a kid compared to her still

She was something special ❤️ I didn't notice her Texan accent, but my Grandpa is from there,so I think I have that accent too!! 😆
