Great work, thanks. We can only wish that more strings comparisons would be as good as this one!

Thanks! Best string comparison video I've seen. I could definitely hear the difference between the different string types played back to back.

SR2000 are by far the longest lasting strings I've ever used.

Even better than Elixirs? I'm thinking of trying them myself

Awesome! Wonder why no manufacturer takes the time to do such an extremely useful overdubbed compairson ... If you ever make a D'Addario, LaBella video like this one, please ping me.

I have been searching for my "ultimate tone" for ages... I have tried several different strings from different manufacturers, but approx. 2 years ago I found the Dean Markley Blue Steel nickel plated mediums and it has become my all-time favorite strings. Unbeatable price /value ratio I really love it.

The Blue Steels & the SR 2000's do it for me.

Thanks for checking us out. Did you have a preference between the sets?

I'm a big stainless steel fan, and the Blue Steel is definately one of the best steel strings on the market. I also like the NPS Blue steel, it has more lows and has a fat sound. In my opinion, if you need some extreme highs the SR 2000 is the best choice (eg. modern metal music).

Yes, I like using Dean Markley strings on my guitars that I have and have been using Dean Markley strings in general for years, particularly the nickel steel model which I'm using now because, of their tone & durability, but I play a regular six string electric. I must say the blue steel strings sounds a bit brighter than the nickel steel & SR model. I wonder does your company plan on bringing back older string models from the past?

    Thank you.
    So much better than D'Addario's.
I especially like the clarity of the Blue Steels.
Were all the tone settings identical?

Lovely comparison! Very good playing and thank you for the video..
I’ve tried all sets, and I find the nps are beautiful sounding, very warm and versatile... the blue steels are also great, but the feel is kind of harsh.
Anyway my vote goes for the nps

Too much lows on the board. Couldn't really hear the definition of the strings.
