Available Now: mercury-studios.lnk.to/Little...
This Little Feat DVD continues our series of releases from the archives of legendary German TV series Rockpalast. Filmed at the Grugahalle in Essen in 1977, just a few days before the recording of their legendary live album "Waiting For Columbus", this DVD captures the classic seventies Little Feat line-up led by the late Lowell George at the very peak of their powers. Also featured as a bonus is almost 30 minutes of never before seen alternative rehearsal versions including material that didn't make it into the final show.

#Stages - Hudba
over the years, I started to realize the immense impact these artists played on our music...so much talk and hype about the Grateful Dead...not knowing how awesome "Little Feat" were.
let's build a monument for the Little Feat. They're magical and pure and brilliant and persuasive
Incredible version of a classic song from a top tier band.
"Oh oh off our rockers acting crazy and with the right medication we won't be lazy". "You know that you're over the hill when your mind makes a promise that your body can't fill" -Old Folks Boogie. Spanish Moon, Cold Cold Cold are two other great songs. RIP Lowell and Paul Barrere.
Back when music WAS music, not like alot of crap nowadays.
I got to see these guys on the Waiting For Columbus tour and the had the Tower Of Power horn section with them to boot. It was in a theatre and the sound was amazing. Orleans was the opening band. Amazing show it was.
wow hell of a night
One of my favorite bands that was so underrated. Kings of syncopation! I wish I could have seen them back in that time.
They were truly something to behold. Amazing musicians and incredible band - live and studio.
Super brilliant performance
First concert I ever saw was Little Feat, at Georgia Tech, many years ago....
When Lowell George was still alive
Bill Payne is phenomenal!
I once told him that it sounds like he has 8 fingers on each hand. He said it feels like it. Classic.
Legendary night. Rory Gallagher opened, Little Feat were second, Roger McGuinn closed. I was unfortunately a decade too young.
Rory opened for that show? He was headliner! 😅
Thank God, I wasn't
a rare, 'better-than-the-album', live performance. that's how you know they the real deal, yall
You are missed Lowell George. Great song at high volume.
Grew up in the DC area...say no more
Cruz e o credo! Tem monstros ao meu redor!
the hell with don kirshner's rock concert ...this was the shit!
thanks for the likes....ill say again. the hell with the deadheads, and phish...this was the shit...the best...little feat dont get the recognition they have earned.
Music today would be so much better if you didn't all die from drug overdoses in cheap motels or from choking on your own vomit. But such, I am told, is life.
They Died in those ways & days also,
