Yeah, it's those subtle additions that can make or break a video segment. I was debating on also using an OG Doom Revenant scream when the one knight was in an ankle lock, but thought that might be a bit much.

I always thought of how it was odd that everyone was shocked and a little scared when he showed up but then every in the audience was cheering as Shrek just starts taking out their armed guards.
It's because they're *Farquad's* guards, and everyone thinks Farquad is a total dick.
You know it makes sense, Farquaad isn't exactly the nicest ruler out there. I'm not surprised the crowd enjoyed the sight of somebody, _anybody_ kicking the snot out of his enforcers.

The greatest combination of nostalgia, badass, and heavy metal
huge props to whoever made this. Not just every other doom meme with the soundtrack slapped on. The music is synced up at the perfect moments and it even has a couple doom sound effects. superb.
Thank you very much. Most of the time spent editing this was debating on throwing in more classic Doom sound effects or not.
One in particular was the Revenant scream when the one knight was in an ankle lock. I decided against it because it felt out of place and wasn't as subtle as the giblet squish for the barrel drop.

What I really love is that if they had used this in the actual film it still would have fit. Shrek is just such a well balanced film that you could through almost anything into it and it would still be tonally appropriate.

That music track was used as the "level clear screen" throughout all of Doom 1, but it wasn't used in an actual level until E2M3.
