It's so nice to hear someone talk about their older work in a positive way. Too often I see colorists tearing up their work or apologizing for it.. and it's not only sad, it's discouraging. It's all lovely.
I watched this video before Hanna posted on her illness yesterday, and was drawn to rewatch. She is my absolute favorite artist. My constant prayers for healing go out to her. #supporthannakarlzon
I was heartbroken to hear about that. We are all praying for her ❤️

Her stuff is eclectic, unique, and just plain weird but it has grown on me and she has become a fave as well.
Erica...your pages are gorgeous and I can see the time, love, and effort that you put into all of them. I personally would love to see you finish the tye dye page because my MIL passed away with Stage 4 cancer and she loved tye dye. No pressure, tho! I want you to enjoy what you love and ohh...would love you to diversify the channel with your scrapbooking because like one of the first videos of you that I watched..you were showing it or maybe your collection of wonderful books or supplies. It's been a minute...I was on my night shift watching the video. Okay I will be less yappy. You are going to think that I'm a creepy stalker type. I'm a sponge learning a Craft. My mom's side was always crafty and I wasn't until I met my best friend. Ashley minored in art in college and has brought some creativity out of me plus my HIPAA Conditions and 2020 .....coloring has rocked and been my world. I laughed a lot when Johanna's book and the adult coloring world exploded. I don't laugh anymore and wish I could get that time back but it did start a beautiful journey.... omgoodness...here I go again and I'm sure you think I'm nuts l....my best friend likes coloring but doesn't do it because it hurts her hands....she loves scrapbooking but is behind....trying to set a crafty session with her....okay Hopefully I didn't waste your time...will continue to get watch videos because I'm off tonight and awake💕💜🦋thank you!

I think I've come to the Hanna Karlzon fan club fairly late. The more I've seen all the lovely and varied work of lots of colourists on Hanna's artwork, the more I've appreciated her style. You have done some amazing work here, & it's good to see all those WIPs, where you are still working out how the picture will go! I'm going to have to pull my finger out & do some more in her books this year. It is so troubling to hear that she is fighting a tumour, I think a lot of the community will be colouring her work in solidarity with her!

It's so interesting to see not only the different coloring styles, but even the different personalities if the colorists. I for example don't have any WIPs - it would stress me out to see unfinished pages. The big disadvantage is that to the end of a picture I often get fed up with it and hurry over it just to be allowed to start another one. Later I am angry with myself that I messed up my nearly finished picture 😂😉
But anyway, I looove to see your Hanna Karlzon pages 😍🥰 hopefully you are able to do some more soon 👍

You can do it!! Just color a small section of one page and it gets easier from there ☺️

Yes, I love that color. It’s called gold iridescence. Does not make you think there’d be a blue tint, but there is a slight one.
What specifically was used to create the black sparkly background? It's so pretty 😍
Thank you! I used a black craft paint and then Folk Art Extreme Glitter paint on top of that ☺️

Did you pre-prep your pages before using the watercolor mediums (Neocolor and Inktense)? If so what did you prep with/. My pages are crunchy!
Lol, no pre prep. Mine are all super crunchy as well ☺️
