love weekend wips- whether they're on friday or saturday or any day. I chose a christmas in july from this book ,too. we will see if i get to it. Train and Yacht Rock?! that's a win! (i saw train with hall & oates a couple years back and Train was fantastic. hope you enjoyed them, too) kids are supposed to road trip- this is the time because then you get to be {cough cough} older and there is zero way i would be driving straight through like i did with friends in my 20s. Definitely need a stop & a hotel. LOL so glad you're getting to see your son though. wonderful

I was super late to the party with her books. I just ordered most of them in 2022. I wasn't sure about her work, but after I went crazy and ordered all of them within a couple months (minus Twilight Garden that I won in a giveaway from Karen Valentine) and started coloring in them -- I realized quickly they are some of my favorite books. Watching you go through these just reminded me how many WIPS I have going in her books. 😆 I literally have a page in Twilight Garden almost complete and yet it has been sitting unfinished since last Fall. 😄 I really need to get back to some of my WIPS and get them done. I pre-ordered Starfall from Amazon US as well, mine was shipped Saturday and it's supposed to be here on Wednesday. Not sure why it is taking that long for shipping because I have Prime. But as of this morning it was in Plainfield, IN. I am in NE Ohio, so thinking it might be here by tomorrow. That double page spread in Luna with the pinkish/red flowers is going to look amazing! I remember when you started this page 😊. It seems like basing in markers is the best thing to do in this book. The first thing I ever tried was Jack and Sprite many years ago 😂. I can’t really drink any more. It just doesn’t agree with me. I enjoyed the video. Take care ❤

I really like your approach with working on WIPs a little here and there. Would like to hear more on how you get inspiration/ideas for the coloring pages from reference pictures and photos. For example, do you look for something specific after choosing a page, or do you just scroll through Pinterest, see something interesting and try to find a page where to implement that idea?

Dear Erica! Your videos are one of the highlights of my summer. I can see the progress and it gives me so much hope. It’s funny that the most printed books I have are from Hanna Karlzon, all remained uncolored 😂 Here’s a video idea: I finish/upgrade my pages in X illustrator or WIPS I will never complete, and it is fine! Edit: Hanna Karlzon needs to stop with the moths and floating heads 😂

All your pages are beautiful. In the Daydreams book, the rabbit with the lantern is my favorite one you colored. Also I love how you drew in the trees on the bug page! The lady with the long braid with flowers turned out gorgeous. I have been coloring in Daydreams for some time now. I have quite a lot of pages finished, and I am trying to finish the whole book. Like you I also like to have the pages that are side by side to coordinate in colors. I feel the same as you about that double spread with the two faces looking at each other. Love the dark and light page idea! Would you consider doing a color along for both pages, so we can see what colors and products you used while you color? If not that's fine.🥰 I know it can be very time consuming to do that. Also like someone else commented a deep dive tutorial on how you shade white items would be great too.🥰💖💚💙💜 I still have to color the ocean princess page too. That one seems so daunting.😲 The page in Jewelry Box you said was one of your all time favorites, WOW just perfection! Really beautiful.💖 Just want to add, you really have mastered coloring skin.

Thanks Erica. Got my books out and followed along> these were some of my first books back in late 2019. I’m glad I saved my fluffed up pages. They become more meaningfull than the ones you love, I think. Enjoyed them all.
