Switch 2 Announcement Announced | Goldenrod Podcast

Nostalgia and performance in a name.
There have been recent hints/speculation at the next generation not releasing until 2026, the 30th anniversary.
With that, if a new generation became every four years, instead of the recent three, what would you break up/fill the years with in the release cycles?

When counting the games per console, you missed 2 from the DS: HeartGold and SoulSilver. That brings the DS count to 9, the same as Switch

Nah, just let us be able to pre mega before the battle so that when we enter the fight the mon is already mega'd so we don't need the animation. I for one like the animation but I know a lot of people don't like waiting for cutscenes to play out. So give us a button that allows for the mon to enter a battle already mega'd.
I only say this because I don't imagine this game with have the traditional pokemon battles. So why not just start a battle mega'd, but I do like the cool down idea. Or better yet, the mega bracelet recharges by roaming around, and recharges faster in battles. So there's still an effort to use mega evolution.

For me Goldeneye & Mario Kart 64 were extremely memorable. As far as most successful console it's the mobile phone based on how much pokemon go makes each month....yes this is cheating but I think worth noting.
