Why should the disqualified player receive any prize whatsoever? Surely you strip them of any position and all prizes!? On the subject of TCG pocket, im looking foward to it and just opening two packs a day to see the cool artwork and especially those immersive cards! I do not have any involvement with any other pokemon mobile app with the exception of Home once in a blue moon.

I dont play competitive, i like catching and making mons competitive, i personally think genning shouldnt be allowed in tournaments but I'd make an exception for 0iv pokemon, version exclusives, and multiple legendaries.

10:19 - They could absolutely take trading out of Pokémon and have it be the same experience, *if* the games all connect to Home. Additionally, if the games don't connect to Home, there would be no reason to purchase them. You don't need to have the old xutscene play specifically in the upper floor of a Pokémon Center for the old games to be amazing - you just need a way to interact with other games/people and Home facilitates that just fine.

Has there ever been a Pokemon presents or direct that showed a game that was released on the future console though? I'm expecting PLZA to be a switch game

Sounds like we need to bring the anime re-watch series for Pokemon Sun and Moon. Honestly, hearing the youtuber Zactoshi (probably spelled that wrong, used to be Luminos Trainer Zac) break this series down brought me back to the anime for journeys because I felt bad for missing out on this part of Ash's journey. When he finally became a champion.

I can't recall but if this is a repeat I apologize....have yall done anything on the business model of pokemon more specifically on how it's seemingly adjusted its tactics to shiny lock or make very difficult legendary & mythical shinies in the main games only to sell them back to you in pokemon go through raids and paid tickets? raids cost money so if the result is not determined is that not akin to a casino targeted at children?

QOTP: This weekend I watched some gameplay of Baldur's Gate 3 because it might be something I get down the line cus I'm trying to branch out to other turn base rpgs. In watching the battling in made me wonder: Do you think that kind of overview, open field, turn base battling style is the direction Pokemon is going for its main series games? In watching it reminded me a little or Pokemon Conquest, but games like Unite and the overview of the battle has been in legends and Sca/Violet, I'm getting this feeling that this is something Pokemon or gamefreak is moving towards and would love to hear your thoughts on the potential and possibilities.

My gf and I have been taking turns playing Pokemon Pinball for like 4 days and we've caught 46 mons amd the catches/evolutions are already slowing down a lot. This game is brutal lol.

So I'm finally playing the Blueberry Academy DLC for ScarVio and I'm actually enjoying it for the time being. The running around completing quests for BP points to unlock things is the right kind of soothing mindless gameplay because I know for it's to obtain mons I want before progressing into the harder battles of the story vs. Legends and trying to complete the Pokedex just battle can catch god at the end which I never cared for obtaining the legends so I was good after Volo. QOTP: What's something that relaxes you?

Watch Gamefreak try to take down the adult Pokemon content on the internet by sending in Porygon to wipe it out, but instead, it sparks a hot new Porygon evolution of Porygon-R34 and it spreads like wild fire lol

I would definitely live in Alola and popplio would be my starter.

Gofest for me was a blast, 117 necrozma raids and 7 shiny, but i am definitely a pay to play player so i understand my experience is a privilege....dont do the math on how many coins i spent its not pretty lol. Striking a balance between offering enough reasons to spend money so the game can be profitable while not alienating the free to play community is definitely difficult. Having played games where certain steps, like skill trees, are thousands of real world dollars i dont find pokemon go that aggregious but definitely not easy to accomplish a totally free experience. Id be interested to hear your thoughts on the new TOS update and its reflection of the way the industry is going as a whole.

Ive witnessed donphans rolling in formation, multiple pokemon races around the world, seviper and zangoose squabbling etc could carry on When you take the time to take in the world theres lots of little fun interactions to see in ScarVi. Yesterday a Klawf casually strolled through my battle perfectly timed inbetween attacks..that one wasn't scripted but made me laugh so hard 😂 Guy looked like it was going "don't mind me, just passing through" 😅

As a side note: completing the Pokémon Ranger Glossary (equivalent of the Pokédex) is one of the most satisfying completionist feelings I’ve had playing a Pokemon game. You have to go to every corner of the region to find every Pokemon, but most you find as you play the game naturally.

QOTP: If you could start your own Pokemon journey from anywhere in the Poke-world. Where would you like to begin with, and would you take a professor given starter of that area or a more difficult route of going out to find your own partner in the surrounding area?

I'd say, give us a starter utility mon like Cylizard to roam around, and as you advance to different areas in the game, you can catch stronger mons that can do more with their natural abilities like connor is getting at, but you have to improve as a trainer to obtain a mon that can climb higher than some or soar faster than others. Therefore making it worth it, and gives retrace ability as your Corviknight can fly higher than say your Doduo could only jump or Fearow could fly. Something like that I would like. Probably something that was in those ranger games I never played lol

Skipping cutscene option would be great for the replay value, because that was the greatest complaint in Pokemon games. If you're not going to recognize older players to skip the tutorial all the together, give an option to all for it. Also, an option for the experience share again. Don't know why that was removed for those that actually like to grind their individual team members.

I would love to explore the Ultra Recon world and start there and go on adventures finding the fallers from other games. Legends Alola: Ultra Rangers lol

Immediately, give me a bug type move that super effective against Fairy. I think the answer is in the resistances rather than the super effectiveness, and give it to moderately okay mons stat wise so that they get more play and representation that doesn't require them to get a new form or evolution. Give Golduck Dark Thoughts, a 70 pp psychic type move that hits dark types super effectively. I could see that being the way forward, and like Ben said, limit it to certain mons via egg move or specific move tutors like the Elemental Beams used to be where you have to go out of your way, present a certain currancy like BP to obtain the ability to learn the moves.

56:30 It would be interesting if GF implemented a field move system like in the Pokemon Ranger games. You briefly befriend a Pokemon to help clear an obstacle in your path. The bigger field moves or more permanent HM type moves like Fly or Surf would become your Partners like in PLA.

29:20 😂yall have shot yourself in the foot here. Pokémon doesn’t need to be historically accurate, just inspired by history. The Protagonist could be another Pacific Islander from a different archipelago like you mentioned with Moana. Simple as that. Someone who is an outsider, but has a similar background.

The future Pokedex could be like an implant with lenses or glasses to see the menu the Implants are like the UI. I think that will happen otherwise implants that let us control our smartphones and cpus That's all possible today but the implant goes in your brain and they don't use the AR glasses interface they just use Bluetooth lol the pokefied version could be like a shot in the arm and a pair of goggles that you can put on and take off putting them on brings up menus They could be hardwired so there would be a futuristic look to the characters wires obviously will go away one day but it would look cool to have a cyborg look just a blue and red or green cable running from the sleeve to the goggles Just realized Mewtwo has his "umbilical" cord from the back of his head this is how it could look if the goggles were hardwired to a brain implant

QOTP: If we can't get changes to the type chart. Could an increase in dual typing moves to those Typings that need the boost help balance things? Like Flying Press being Fighting and Flying or how Freeze Dry is an Ice Type move that is super effective on Water. Maybe having more of these to pair with terastialization is the key? What are your thoughts, and idea for more moves like this?

46:44. I think the best way to balance “Earth type” moves would be for some individual moves to have the flavor text “This move cannot affect Flying or Levitating Pokemon”. Also, I wouldn’t make “Earth type” moves super effective against Flying-types.

48:00. Something I’m surprised they didn’t talk about in Gen 3 section was Pokemon that were given Dragon-type that didn’t need it. I believe there is no plausible reason why Altaria is Dragon-type. It’s just a songbird that looks like a cloud. Normal (for sound) and Flying type like it’s prevo would have worked fine. Then Fairy-Flying for its Mega.
