It is been awhile since I had a great learning moment. Xavier, you have to change the title of this video. The amount of critical information, the knowledge that you shared can help any musician to grow. You have no idea how much value you just have added to me. This video should be watch by every musician. Thank you!
Hey Xavier, I love your playing. Beautiful sound and accurate intonation. Thanks for sharing
I love your videos! You always play so beautifully.
Thank you very much! great ideas!
Coincidentally started learning the sarabande from Bach's Cello suite no. 2 today. I really appreciate the tips!
Tottally agree, bravo and great video
Bravo!
Hi Xavier you could use Gut Strings and a Baroque Bow to get a more of a sound Bach would've heard.
Xavier can you please tell the time UTC the Bach class will be held.
19:00 utc
Xavier Foley thank you!
Why not just use Fifths tuning Strings so you can play as written.
You'd still get it sounding an octave lower than written cos bass is a transposing instrument. Some people do play the suites with different tunings though (edgar uses a weird one), but mostly still up in thumb ish position so you're in the original octave
@@alfieharries Yes it'll sound rather punchy
