Dr Khalid Zaheer is an Islamic scholar having a Ph.D. from the University of Wales. He studied religion and Quran from Dr. Israr Ahmed, Mawlana Amin Ahsan Islahi, and Javed Ahmed Ghamdi. Dr. Khalid Zaheer has taught courses on Islamic ethics, traditions and economics etc, at various top national institutions, including the Aga Khan University, LUMS and University of Central Punjab.

میں سمجھتا ھوں کہ غامدی صاحب کا شمار دنیا کے زہین ترین انسانوں میں ھوتا ھے جسکا بخوبی اندازہ ہر وہ شخص کر سکتا ھے جو انکی گفتگو سنتا ھے ۔ انکی گفتگو میں آ او والے وقفے ۔ شاٸد اور غالباً والے الفاظ نہیں ھوتے وہ دلیل و ریفرنس کے بغیر کبھی گفتگو نہیں فرماتے ۔۔۔۔۔ پھر ان سے جو تند و تیز اور مشکل ترین سوالات کیۓ جاتے ھیں ان سوالات کی گرفت کرنے سے انکی شخصیت اور زہانت کا کچھ اندازہ کیا جا سکتا ھے ۔۔۔۔
لہزا وہ جس بھی موضوع کا انتخاب کریں اس سے بہت کچھ سیکھنے کو مل سکتا ھے ۔
کبھی انہوں نے پاکستان کی کرکٹ ہیسٹری پر بات کی تو یقین مانیں بہت دلچسپ ھوگی اور وہ یہ بات ضرور بتا سکیں گے کہ کرکٹ سے ریٹاٸر ھوتے ہی کرکٹر دینی مزاج اور دین کی طرف ماٸل کیوں ھو جاتے ھیں 😄
یہ تو سراسر غیر معقول بات ہوئی، کہ کوئی شہری صرف اس لیے فوج کے خلاف یا اصلاح کے لئے بات نہ کرے کیونکہ وہ عالمِ دین ہے۔ دین ایک نظام اور طریقے کا نام ہے۔ غامدی صاحب نے جن دلائل کے ساتھ اپنا پیغام پہنچایا ہے، وہ شاید مطالعہ پاکستان کا پروفیسر بھی نہ سمجھا سکے۔ شُکریہ!

I personally think that Ghamidi Sahib has very good knowledge of Pakistan problems right from its conception to current status and it's continues economic and social plight and then in all this mess the role of bundooq. His bayania series is the best one to all those Pakistanis who are made fool of justification for holding absolute power by bundooq under the pretext of Islam. So hearing facts, figures and underneath causes is extremely helpful to understand real problems and threats to Pakistan. So it's a great job by him, many things when spoke many year before about these roles but not in detail were very strange for me but now it is well understood that how a intelligent and mind is seeing all this and specially a person who see things with Quranic wisdom. Thanks to Ghamidi Sahib for his excellent contribution

غامدی صاحب عالم دین کے علاوہ وہ ایک دانشور،تاریخ اور سائنس کے طالب علم بھی ہیں یہ تو ہم سب جانتے ہیں اختلاف رائے ہونی چاہئیے یہ تو ہم جانتے ہیں مگر یہ بھول جاتے ہیں ہمیں اُسے کیسے اور کہاں ظاہر کرنی چاہیے

Men jab Ghamidi sab ko in topics par bat karty dekhta hun to mjy zara taajub ni hota. Islam zindagi k har pehlu k baray men asuli rehnumai fraham karta hai. Ye teeno topics aysy thi k jin k baray men aam log samajh ni paa rhy thy k hum kis moqaf ko apnayn aur thinking process kiya ho. To Ghamidi sab ne ek rasta dikhaya k cheezon ilmi tor pr har zaviye se dekha jana chahiye. Ap un k perspective se ikhtilaf kr sakty hen lekin ye topics Off-road hen, aysa atleast mjy ni mehsoos hota.

I also agree to many people who have commented that it's very important and eye opening for people of Pakistan to understand the impact and intervention of fooj in in running the country especially when we know now that all we learnt in our nasaab/ curriculum is and was false........ We are kept in lies. Ghamidi sahib and many others are now opening the true view.

امت مسلمہ کو اللہ نے امة وسطا قرار دیا ہے۔۔ایک تو یہ کہ حضور ﷺ سے پہلے کی امت اور آنیوالی اس کے درمیان ۔دوسرا دو extreme پوزیشن کے درمیان والا راستہ اپنانا ہے۔ یعنی دین میں سختی کو نہیں اپنانا اور نہ بہت دور جانا یعنی اپنی مرضی سے زندگی گذارنا۔ حمزہ علی عباسی کا تعلق شو بزنز کے شعبے سے ہے جسے دوسری extreme کی جگہ پر رکھا جاتا ہے۔ لیکن اس کے اندر کی جستجو کہ میں دین کو سمجھ کر اس پر عمل کرو نہایت قابل تعریف بات ہے۔ اسکی حوصلہ افزائی کرنی چاہئے ۔

So as an islamic scholar he should not have views and opinions on any other non islamic matter?? His series on other matters such as role of army are thought provoking and lessons for public.

Salaam. Establishment has been ruling without any consent of people for so long in a country where democracy was supposed to be materialised. Every single person of Pakistan is being deceived by these powerful people because this powerful group is ruling behind the scene. They are the king. Speaking against the king for his wrongdoing is the duty of an Alim regardless of the repercussions. As long as an Alim tells the truth, in conscience and fairness, it’s not his job to worry about consequences.
Others people who are close to Ghamidi sahib and obviously who love him, they don’t like any contemptuous conversation towards Ghamidi sahib, they will naturally not encourage Ghamidi sahib specifically Hasan sahib to discuss these topics because of their own pain what they feel whenever someone disrespects Ghamidi sahib. Khalid Zaheer sahib and numerous other people believe that Ghamidi sahib revealed islam in its real context with his hard work and pure ability of understanding. God keeps his promise to show right path in all times. Quran is safe so one needs high morals to reveal its secret and Ghamidi sahib have it. That’s the reason Ghamidi sahib never said names of the people but he always described these matters beautifully in such principle way where one can’t find any incoherence. I am grateful to God who grants ilm to the people who keeps firm belief of standing in front of Him for their all doings and in result God grants them “ the Hikmah” the most precious thing in this world.

آگ نہی بولیں گے تو حقوق العباد کی خلاف ورزی ہو گی ۔

Listening to you for the first time and last time. The series on Fauj ka beyania is excellent series which should be discussed. Respectfully (as you are elder to me) the way you mocked this was a disgrace, example of cricket made you look very small. Anyway, it is good to have difference of opinion. He is tiny compared to Ghamidi… as a matter of fact in the islamic world there is no contemporary equal to Ghamidi. They are all blind followers of their hero scholars and babas. Ghamidis efforts in purifying and reconstructing islamic thought backs to its pure form is exemplary and unique.
Well summarised! Purifying is the right word. People accuse him of inventing new things when he is purifying the deen of Muhammad SAW from all that came later and that people confuse for the real deen
I disagree with you that he is emphasizing hadis. Apparently he don't. His main concentration are Quran and sunnat. On the other hand Ali Mirza is greatly emphasizing on hadis
Ghamidi sb has quoted more than 1200 ahadees in his book meezan, more than any other book explaining Islam.
Ghamidi sahab is writing a tafseer on Hadis which is going to be his life’s work
غامدی صاحب نہ صرف ایک بڑے عالم دین ہیں جس نے کتابیں مفتی کی سند حاصل کرنے کیلئے نہیں بلکہ علم حاصل کرنے کیلئے پڑھی ہیں بلکہ وہ جدید معاشرتی علوم کے بھی بڑے عالم ہیں لہذا وہ اس امر کے مکمل اہل ہیں کہ قومی سیاسی معاملات کی اصلاح کے بارے میں بھی صائب مشورہ دے سکیں۔
ہم اللّٰہ تعالیٰ کے بندے ہیں ہمیں پیروی غامدی صاحب کی نہیں کرنی بلکہ پیروی اللّٰہ تعالیٰ کے رسول صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وسلم کی کرنی ہے رسول صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وسلم کی دی ہوئی کتاب قرآن مجید اگر سمجھ کر پڑھنے کی کوشش کرتے رہیں گے تو یقیناً صراط المستقیم پر رہیں گے رسول صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وسلم کی جتنی تعریف قرآن مجید میں کی گئی ہے اس سے آگہی کی ضرورت ہے ؛

آپ سمجھنے سمجھا نے مین لگے رہیں یعنی دین کی ابھی تک کسی کو مکمل سمجھ نہیں آئی عوام کو چاہیے کہ غامدی صاحب کے کسی آخری رائےپر پہنچنے تک اعمال مین توقف کرین تاوقتیکہ غامدی صاحب کسی رائے پر ٹک جائیں
معاویہ کے حوالہ سے آپ کی رائے سے اتفاق نہیں کرتا معاویہ کا رویہ قرآن و سنت کے مسلمہ اصولوں کی صراحتا اور کھلی خلاف ورزی ہے اطیعوا اللہ و اطیعوا الرسول واولی الامر منکم اور فقاتلوا التی تبغی جیسے حکم قرآنی کے معاویہ کے روے کی کوئی گنجائش نہیں نبی کریم اس گروہ کو باغی اور داعی الی النار فرما رہے ہیں ابھی ابھی آپ آئین شکنی کی مذمت فرما رہے ہیں جبکہ قرآن سے بڑھ تو ان دساتیر کی اھمیت نہیں ہے قتل حجر بن عدی زیاد کا استلحاق یزید کی ولی عھدی ممبروں پر سب وشتم علی جس پر ام المومنین ام سلمہ تک چینخ اٹھیں آخر کس کس حقیقت پر پردہ پوشی کی جائے گی۔ چلئیے کا ساتھ نہ سہی باطل کا دفاع سے تو کم از کم دوری کی امید ہے۔
حضرت معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ ایک صحابی ہیں اور ہمیشہ رہیں گے اس بات کا لحاظ کیجے تاریخ کوئی قرآن اور حدیث کی طرح ہم تک نہیں پہنچی اس لیے اس پر جذباتی اعتماد کرکے کہیں اپنی آخرت برباد نہ کر ڈالنا
