    Interesting series and nice that they sent you all 3 models in the range as opposed to just the premium top of the line. Thanks for sharing :)

      Is it still going good? Or does it perform well in rainy weather?

  • @Pacjonek
    @Pacjonek Před 3 lety +6

    A drum brake is more practical than a disc brake.
    It only takes 5 minutes of riding in the rain to find out why you will hate disc brake on bad weather. After all, you often drive in the rain, haven't you noticed this?
    If you only ride in the good weather then indeed - a disc brake is much better

    agree with you on a lot of points. By far the best looking of the vsett line. Unfortunately with a solid rear tire, drum brakes and without the new folding clamp. If only I could have this scooter with vestt9+' features

    • @sockerbeta
      @sockerbeta Před 3 lety +2

      The solid rear tire isn't something you think of when driving. The ride is so comfortable anyway so it's not a problem. On the plus-side is that you'll never have a flat on the motor hub wheel, so maintenance is much easier. The drum brakes are a good choice in my opinion as they're maintenance free. The folding clamp can make it wobbly, but it's easy to adjust the screws to keep rattling to a minimum. It's a solid ride and good fun for the price and a "it just works" scooter with good looks and comfortable ride qualities.

      @@sockerbeta i have a speedway mini 4 pro so i not all about a rear solid tire and drum brake. Hopefully it works better on the vsett also because it has better suspension. However those design choices are still a deal breaker for me

    i am more interesting to get VSET8+ model.. 90K of range... currently i have Ninebot Max with 65K of range.. VSET8+ cost 1300€ in Slovenia... i don't know... a bit to pricey for me.. could be less with that range i thing.. but looks good.. completely foldable and not much heavier than Max. and i like that folding system.. simple strong and reliable...

    That hill was most likely typical garage hill - 10 degree exactly...I'm very surprised it didn't make it up... My Aerlang h6 pro has also 25amp 48v set up but 10inch pneumatic tire, and it makes it up the hill of 10 degrees at 13kmh... (10inch requirer more torque than 8inch too and its motor is 500-960w max ...)

    • @Godsillah88
      @Godsillah88 Před rokem

      If you have a 25 amp controller and 48v battery, your peak wattage would be closer to 1350W with a full battery. Motors wattage rating doesn't matter.

      48V and 15,6Ah instead of 52V and 10,4Ah (or 36V and 18,2A) and the turn signals on Vsett 8. In all other parts they're identical. Full deck grip-tape on Splach and imho more interesting colors on Splach.
