- This was hike #1 of our three day camping trip in the White Mountains. Checking off another New Hampshire 48 was part of the plan and since Mt. Hale has no views, so this was good day for it

This is stunning scenery my friend, you filmed this masterfully! Atmosphere is gorgeous!
Thank you very much!
I love the idea of a hiking club. Looks like you didn't let the rain stop you from enjoying this hiking trip. This looks like a challenging but beautiful area to hike.
@hikingoutdoorfamily my company has dozens of clubs for our employees. I am also a member of cycling club. The White Mountains are awesome. You should check it our with your family. Thanks for watching!
We are in to our 8th day of rain. Don't mind it too much, but getting rather tired of it and Otis really doesn't do so well in the rain. It is a really different kind of a beautiful feeling being in the woods while it is raining. Another great adventure. Bruce and Otis
Bruce & Otis, Yes it is different hiking in the rain. When you get up in elevation it becomes paramount to be prepared and know when to call it. Definitely better to be out in the rain than sitting on the sofa. Take care.
Wow that was a lot of rain but thank goodness it went away it looks like half way through so you were able to come down when it was dry. Enjoyed how you added information about the trees and later the fire tower. Perfect way to end a wet day with a nice warm fire. Wow a bear so glad you were excited not sure if I would have been excited and not sur if I would have grabbed the camera very fast either. overall; though looked like a great day any time out in nature with a good hike is fantastic!
This was a no-view hike so why let the rain stop us. I did slip on the way down and almost out. I was no worse for the ware but my iPhone to a cosmetic hit on the camera side. I’m a bit of a history nerd, so most of my videos will have background. This was my fourth in-person not-protected bear sighting. It’s a little easier on my heart each time. Thanks for the terrific comments.
Looks like a great hike even tho no view at the top. Glad you got to see a bear. I'm trying to be more aware of the different kinds of wildlife I see when hiking!
Thanks for watching!
stunning place enjoy and be safe
Thanks, it really is
Very enjoyable hiking.
It was enjoyable, but not in the typical way. Thanks for watching!
Yeah Hale is a good one for a rainy day. They should bring back a tower on the summit. #TowerPower
Yes that would help. I can imagine it must have provided great views of Washington at one time.
Thanks John, good filming ! Looking forward to the Mt. Tom video !! Just curious, what campground did you camp at ?
@gerard2620 I am working on the Mt. Tom video, if all goes well it will be out in a week. Thanks for watching!
