Earlier this summer went to Kodiak Island, Alaska for a solo backpacking trip. Cold and rainy all 4 days. My gear wetted out eventually. I was doing ab exercises in my sleeping bag to warm up. I took a ride from total strangers on 2 different occasions because I told myself I’d rather get murdered than be cold and wet any longer. Lol. Anyways, didn’t learn my lesson, heading for another solo 4 day backing trip on southeast Alaska. Taking the “milk run” to visit 2 islands and its predicted to rain the entire time again.
Never heard of Kodiak Island, looks great! Doesn't look especially wet on the pictures 😁
